Our apple tree lost a 10 inch width limb in a storm and rather than pay the exorbitant amount demanded by the gardener, I ordered this chain saw to do the job myself. I would recommend not using it right off the bat, since the battery is not charged sufficiently and mine got stuck on the branch. Once fully charged there was no holding back. My teenager loved how fun it was and quickly chopped the branches into firewood. There were gloves and safety glasses sent as part of the set, which was a thoughtful add-on. Powerful battery.
