Excellent performance and complete peace of mind
"I recently purchased the Aquaguard 2X (UV+UF) water purifier, and I am very pleased with my experience so far. The water taste is noticeably clean and fresh, and the advanced filtration system offers great peace of mind regarding safety. The installation process was prompt and handled professionally by the technician. The unit has a sleek design that fits nicely in the kitchen, and the extended filter life adds great value.. 1.Complete Microbial Disinfection UV Light Technology: Exposes water to ultraviolet rays that destroy the DNA of harmful bacteria, viruses, and parasites (like E. coli, Salmonella, and Rotavirus), making them unable to reproduce or cause illness. Equivalent to Boiling: Provides the same safety standard as boiling water for 20+ minutes.

Value for money water purifier
I have utilized this product for several weeks, and I would like to share my observations: Advantages: 1. The water purification capability is exceptional. My borewell water, with a Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) range of 1600 to 2000, is consistently purified to a TDS level between 90 and 110, which is highly commendable. 2. As an Internet of Things (IoT) device, it provides access to key parameters such as water consumption, TDS levels, and the health of the water filter. 3. The product comes with a comprehensive 2-year warranty, which is a significant benefit. 4. It offers excellent value for its price point. 5. The inclusion of a stainless steel tank, as opposed to a plastic one, is a commendable feature that the industry should consider adopting more widely. Disadvantages: 1. While a historical chart for water consumption is available, similar charting functionalities for TDS levels or water filter degradation are absent. 2. The water purifier features a clock, but it does not offer the option to switch from a 24-hour format to a 12-hour format. This is a minor point but worth noting. 3. Upon restarting the water purifier after a period of being switched off, it typically takes approximately 2 to 3 minutes, and occasionally longer, to re-establish a Wi-Fi connection, even when the router is in close proximity. While not a critical issue, it is an aspect to consider.

### Extremely Disappointing After-Sales Service from Aquaguard###
### Extremely Disappointing After-Sales Service from Aquaguard The product worked well for the first four months. However, during the fifth month, the TDS level started increasing, and by the end of the fifth month, it had crossed 120. This is when I raised my first service complaint. A technician visited a few days later, carried out some checks, and assured me that the issue would resolve and the purifier would work fine. For the next few days, the TDS level did come down, but it never dropped below 100. Since the technician had assured us that it would improve in a few days, we trusted his assessment. Unfortunately, the TDS started increasing again, and I had to raise another complaint. When the technician visited this time, he informed me that the membrane inside the filter was faulty and that the entire filter needed to be replaced. Since the product purchase was more than six months old, I was told that the replacement would cost approximately ₹3,000. I strongly disagreed with this because the issue had already been reported during my earlier complaint, but the technician had failed to identify the actual problem at that time. I raised this concern with customer care and asked why I should bear the replacement cost when the problem should have been identified during the first service visit. After several discussions, customer care informed me that I would have to pay 25% of the total filter cost. Although I was initially reluctant to pay, repeated follow-ups with customer care did not lead to any resolution. Eventually, I agreed to pay the 25% amount, and I was assured that the issue would be resolved within two days. However, the actual experience has been completely different. The technician called me after four days and said that he would visit the same day, but he never showed up. After another two days, he called again and said he would come, but once again, there was no visit. He then informed me that the filter would cost around ₹2,300. I reminded him that customer care had already confirmed that I only needed to pay 25% of the total cost. As per my last conversation with the technician, he was scheduled to visit on the 20th. However, I have still received no communication or service update. The complaint was originally raised on **10th July**, and the technician last visited on **13th July**, when he confirmed that the filter was faulty. Since then, I have done nothing but repeatedly follow up with customer care and wait for the technician to visit. I have attached a screenshot of my service request, which clearly shows that the complaint has remained open since 10th July. Despite this, the technician's visit date has repeatedly been rescheduled after every follow-up, without any actual resolution. ### My Recommendation This has been an extremely disappointing experience with **Eureka Forbes/Aquaguard**, particularly when it comes to after-sales service. Based on my experience, I would strongly advise potential buyers, especially those in the **Pune/Wagholi area**, to carefully consider the quality of after-sales service before purchasing an Aquaguard purifier. For me, this will most likely be my **last Aquaguard product**. If I need to purchase another water purifier in the future, I would rather consider a locally assembled purifier than spend money on a branded product with such poor after-sales support. A good product is only as good as the service provided when something goes wrong. Unfortunately, my experience with Aquaguard has been extremely frustrating, and I would strongly recommend that prospective buyers **think twice before purchasing an Aquaguard purifier**.

Very much satisfied with the purifier
It has only been a few days, and the product looks very promising. The installation team also did a great job. We had a slightly unconventional setup: the RO unit was placed in our wash area, and we connected the purified water outlet to a spout in the kitchen to dispense the RO water. Initially, the technicians were hesitant because they didn't fully understand how to execute the setup, but they later agreed and finished the installation with a neat and professional finish the next day. I was also able to connect the RO to the internet successfully. The TDS reading displayed in the app differed slightly from what my manual TDS meter showed, but initially, both readings were below 50 TDS. I asked them to install a TDS adjuster—which cost around 299—and after that, the TDS reading settled around 130 on my meter and 110 in the app. Overall, it is a great product, and I am very satisfied with their service. Also they do provide two years free service as mentioned in the app.
