Now I’ve tried a LOT of different low-carb foods, snacks, etc. and they’ve always tasted pretty- to really good. That is, until I decided to order the rather pricey RipVan Wafers (strawberry). Somehow they got good ratings, but when my wife and I tried them, they were bland, flavorless and at 130 calories each, not worth eating. In spite of that, I waited until the next day to see if my taste buds were off and I tried another. I do have to say that they were a little better than chewing on cardboard, but not by much. So, I did something I’ve almost never done in my 65 years: I complained about a food product. I wrote to the company, explained the situation and asked them if they would either give me a refund or a credit for one of their products that had at least some flavor. If not, I would leave a review of their product. Well, I guess they didn’t appreciate my correspondence and they never replied.
