Make sure you read carefully. I am giving the strips a 5 because they do what they are suppose to do. However, I will share I was taken in the beginning by the delayed coloring of the strips. I am so use to using other strips that immediately show the accurate color read til this one had me slightly worried. Once I stopped to read the bottle which reads "wait for about 40 seconds my experience quickly shifted. To others this may be a thumbs down like it was to me in the beginning but once thinking about for a couple of days; I think I can appreciate knowing that a necessary process must take place over a couple of seconds to assure the proper count of my body's ketone level rather than as a liquid/urine contact the stick the reading is there like food coloring. There is an instant color reaction but you don't get your actually reading til a couple of seconds later. And because I dry fast for several days at a time to see the true Large 16 Ketone results those seconds are needed for the boldness in color or else the color looks faint.

I usually never pay much attention to offers for a free item when ordering, but I gave it a try. The Zenda Keto Scripts delivered an exact duplicate product for the price of one!Now for the product. It works and it is accurate, period. Any documents will tell you that for accurate results you either need a lab to analyze blood or urine. I have a lot of lab work done every 3 months and the results of these strips accurately matched my lab results. There is a negative, BUT I am not concerned enough to drop a star from 5 stars. The requirement is that you can't just use the stream when going to the bathroom like quick results versions such as Bayer's that give results in 15 seconds. This requires that you capture a specimen in some container (Dixie cup) and dip for 3 seconds. The other disadvantage is that it takes 40 seconds instead of 15. I've found that this extra slight inconvenience results in a MUCH MORE ACCURATE result.So basically, the extra work gives better results. Then as a bonus, you get an extra free two months for you effort. I'll definitely buy again

The color doesn't match but they seem to work. At least when I fast ed after 2 days they were very dark.It's impossible to read the intermediate ones because they don't match the colors on the box.I think that there's a ones that didn't pass the quality check at the factory because one of them had the red dye showing after the test and that was what you see on the box.So my guess is they didn't get enough of a particular reagent and then that one had got a bunch of it.These are the first I've ever bought. When they were old they turned brown but the ones I put in the freezer are still fine. Inquiring minds want to know.

This people offer great personal customer service! And yes, the free bottle is for real! I got it within a week after quick very friendly, couple emails.This brand had lasted for a while for me. Most bottles will warn you (and it has happened to me) the strips will not be good after 90 days of opening date. What I did is that I partially opened the foil on top. Big enough for you to shake the bottle for a couple of strips to come out. Then immediately replace the cap. I opened the bottle last August of 2019. It is now January 2020 and my strips are now starting to go bad where I noticed only a corner of the square changed color and the rest did not. Thankfully I had received my free bottle already so I’m all set.As far as accuracy, I don’t have a blood meter so I can’t measure accuracy. But when I ate something I know for sure would kick me out of ketosis temporarily the strips have always reflected it.

I know urine test strips aren't very accurate to begin with, but I'm starting to believe the bottle I got has defective strips.I've used about 40 of them so far, and only about a handful of them have shown any ketone levels in my urine.No, the obvious answer, and the first thing I thought of is that I am not in ketosis.I have a friend always also using urine strips, from a different brand, and every one of those that I've taken shows a ketone level between 1.5 and 4. Even taking them back to back, one from that brand, one from this brand, shows different results.I'll use up the remainder of the bottle, and update my review if necessary at that point.

I am going on my second intense keto diet in 2 years. Did one last year and lost 60lb, but only gained back 5 in the past 11 months. I have used strips like this before to just confirm I am in ketosis and ignore the actual level since it has so many variables. Compared to 2 other brands (that I paid more for) the readings have been the same. These were much cheaper than the others so this is a win win. If all else fails, get these to confirm you're doing ityoye diet right and to keep yourself motivated to keep going. Simple packaging, easy to open, count is right, and has a dessicant to keep them lasting longer. Over half way through the bottle and haven't had any issues that others may have had. I do know you can have issues keeping items like these in a warm or high humidity area. I keep mine in a drawer in the bedroom and not the bathroom.
