This a great roller very firm but it helps enormously with tight muscles

It's very firm. Very robust, it should last for years. Not smelly. I am reviewing the black extra firm version. As for its ability to give a deep massage, it is definitely at the extreme range of pressure produced. It can be painful using it, but no pain no gain. Or 'if it isn't hurting, it's not working'. It is very effective at loosening up knots and impingements in muscles and ligaments. I 100% recommend this. The only question is 'can you handle it?'

Great roller. I have the smaller version of this rumble roller so I knew what to expect! It is firm, so can be painful when rolling over sensitive muscles BUT, does a really great job at kneeding out the knots and loosening stiff muscles. I wouldn't use an ordinary foam roller again, unless it was the only thing I had access to, I would definitely use one of these. The only downside was the ridiculously sized packaging that it was delivered in.

It’s 100% worth the extra money for this particular brand. I have the firmer option - the firmness takes a little getting used to, but it really relieves post-workout muscle aches. The density of foam in the bumps and the solid core means the roller doesn’t deflect and will last a very long time. The size of the bumps and the spacing between the bumps spreads the pressure more evenly (cheaper versions have wider spacing/ fewer bumps) but also really “dig in”. The 22inch is a good size as it lets you roll a different angles without “falling off” the edge. Looking at the design and materials, you get the feeling that the people who made this, prioritised making a quality product over anything else.

As a seasoned marathon runner who runs 7 days a week, I use this ever single day to iron out tight Glutes and Hamstrings. Excellent product and has managed to withstand the daily pounding without showing any signs of damage. Be warned that it’s not a beginner foam roller.

Looks like a medieval instrument of torture, and can feel like it sometimes too. But it works far, far better than my other smoother roller. Gets way deep into the muscle tissue. You do suffer when using this but its short term pain for a long time gain. The more often you use it, the less painful it is.

After trying a cheaper roller which looks the same but wasn’t effective, I decided to bite the bullet & buy the Rumble Roller which is pricey. Wow! This roller really works to get to the painful knots. The bumps are truly firm so that they press into fascia & deep tissues. I find it easier to use than a massage ball which needs more balance to get right. This roller has been worth every penny.

The best foam roller I've ever had. Every other foam roller with a hallow center always snaps within the first couple of uses. Since this one has a solid center, it won't break. It digs deep for foam rolling. Probably not best for beginners because of the firmness, but good for experienced athletes with tight or sore muscles.

I am pretty new to foam rolling, I got the grid role just 5 days ago and received my rumbleroller original today. My primary need was stiff / knotted upper and mid back. Just 3 minutes on the rumbleroller made my back loosen up. Way better than grid roller just basis my initial use itself. Definitely recommend. Edit: I have now used it for a few days and can't recommend this enough. My back hasn't felt this great for months now.

I've been using this product for a few years now and it is amazing. I'm about a 100KG so, this get a bit of punishment and its still going strong. I love it.

i have used other rollers for 4 years now, this one really gets in and releases tight muscles. at first i was concerned it might be too aggressive but its spot on !
