This probably works very well for most ederly people. But it did not work for my father-in-law. He is very tall 6'2". This does not rise high enough to stand him up. Since the it also uses a non-standard seat it was not possible for us to add a tolet seat riser. It probably would have worked if it was a standard seat. This is very well built. It is actually over deigned for most people which probably makes the price higher than necessary.

We were very concerned when the product was delivery, due to the packaging was severely damage. However, the product itself was intact with no issues.

I did order this for my elderly mother who needs assistance standing up from a seated position. It has been more challenging for her to do that in the bathroom despite using toilet safety rails . I installed this lift onto her toilet; no complicated tools needed. The lifting mechanism moves nice and slow and it lifts her up very slowly till she is able to stand confidently. The lifting motor is slow and quiet and easy to operate. The lift includes handlebars on the sides of the seat to help with safety The lift is a little pricy and does serves only one purpose, however the ability to have peace of mind and have some independence is also a big gain

My left knee has been giving me a lot of trouble for some time due to arthritis. It stiffens up so bad to the point where I have trouble standing up from low heights, such as the toilet. When I came across this elective toilet lift, I jumped on it. On days when my leg acts up, this lift has served as a huge lifesaver. Beginning with assembly, I will say it was very straightforward. The unit arrives in a fairly large box. Thankfully, the main frame and lift mechanism of the device come mostly assembled. You just have to install a few additional components. You will first begin by installing the feet. These thread into the bottom of the frame. Next, you will attach and secure the side rails with the included hardware. At this point, you can then attach the armrests and toilet seat. That about sums it up! Assembly took around only 20 minutes. As far as installation, the unit is quite large, so you will need some space around your toilet. There is about 15” of space between my toilet and my vanity, and the lift just fits. The lift is designed to sit over the top of most toilet bowls. It is fairly heavy, so you will likely need an additional helping hand to move the lift into position. Once installed, the unit can be plugged into a standard 110V wall outlet. This was a huge relief to me, as I initially feared the ram would require additional voltage. As far as construction, I have to say that this thing is built ruggedly. It is both sturdy and stable, and thanks to its substantial build, it will not move or slide inadvertently. Thanks to the heavy duty construction, I feel confident when both sitting and standing. The toilet seat is also quite comfortable, and I much prefer the design to that of many of the raised toilet seats on the market currently. Moreover, the lift is very simple to use and operate. The remote control is foolproof, and the ram operates smoothly. I am glad to report that I am very satisfied with the impact this electric toilet lift has had in my daily life. This unit has entirely eliminated the burden of wondering exactly how I was going to get up from the toilet. The lift works as advertised, and is undoubtedly built to last a long time. I believe that this lift has the ability to help a lot of disabled people, and I would most definitely give it my recommendation.

First off, it's big and heavy. For me, this was a 2 person job. The first thing we did was to shut off the water and flush the toilet to get all the water out. We then covered it with a couple moving blankets to protect the toilet. Once we got it in place we removed the blankets. After that we plugged it in and raised it, it's very quiet. I stepped into it and let it lower and raise me (I'm 220 pounds for reference). It works perfectly, it's so much easier to get off the toilet. Tip: Wouldn't you know I dropped the remote and couldn't reach it. I took a neck lanyard and tied it to the arm so if I drop it again I can pull it to me and it won't hit the floor anymore. This toilet lift is a bit pricey but worth every penny. If you have difficulty getting off the toilet, I highly recommend this one.

Easy to set up and use. Holds weight of a 265 lb male. Takes a little getting use to using. Fits good in my bathroom but make sure you have a good 6 inch clearance on both sides of the toilet. Also doubles as a chair if you put a cousin over the hole.

The quality of the product, is excellent. The frame is very strong. At the moment I’m very satisfied. Was delivered early. So no complaints at all. Would certainly recommend it. Would say that make sure you check the measurements, of your toilet area.

Extremely useful for my aunt who has been struggling to sit/stand on her own recently. It took some convincing because nobody wants to admit that they need help, but once it was installed she did admit it was a relief that she wouldn't need help from any of the workers at her care home. Note that this thing is extremely heavy, and you will absolutely need 2 people to carry the box.
