deeply frustrating device as it does not seem to come with a manual, spent hours on the net trying to find one only to see coment from other equaully frustrated users how the hell are you supposed to know what the vaious button do without dome sort of proper explanation of what all the variou symbols mean this was not a cheap pirchase but to my mind it is totally useless without a clear set of instruction - I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER PHILLIPS PRODUCT VERY DISSAPOINTING

This item arrived on time and was as ordered, however as other buyers have mentioned there is no user manual included with this item, without this it is no more than an expensive paperweight. I have contacted Philips, or should I say the Philips robot which was less than useless. I advise no body to order this item unless you want to spend days on line trying to get hold of instructions on how to use it.

I would have given it a no star rating if that was available. The steam function only operates in the large basket. Very disappointing. Instructions useless.

I’ve been using the Philips 5000 Series Dual Basket Airfryer with Steam for a while now, and it’s become my go-to kitchen appliance for everything from quick dinners to weekend batch cooking. The two separate cooking trays are a massive advantage — I can cook my main and a side at the same time without any flavour crossover, and the Sync Finish feature makes sure both dishes are ready to serve together, which is brilliant for family meals. With around 12 built-in programmes for different foods and cooking styles, I never have to guess time and temperature — whether I’m air-frying, steaming, or doing a combo Steam & Airfry, there’s usually a preset that fits. It’s especially handy for things like frozen snacks, veggies, fish, or chicken drumsticks, and makes the whole experience much more user-friendly. The steam function is a nice bonus too — it keeps veggies and proteins juicy and tender, while the air frying still gives a nice crisp finish. And when cooking multiple items at once, I love not having to babysit them with separate timers or extra dishes. Overall, this air fryer delivers on versatility, convenience, and performance. Bought in the deal so saved a lot of money . I bought this to replace a 4 year old cosori one drawer . The steam function is just excellent and so easy to use . Would be handy if steam function available for the smaller drawer and if a full instruction book came with it as I basically just guessed how to work it . Good quality item that looks good too . I use reusable liners for it to make it easier to take things out as dosnt have internal basket like my old one so 4 stars for that . If you like steaming food this is a perfect upgrade

Great air fryer. But the small basket doesn’t always work when inserted. Not sure if issue with the machine I bought but it made it unusable and had to return, just be aware.
