Worked great launched a ballon way further than I thought

This is amazing. I was nervous it would break because of a few bad reviews. 10 teens / pre-teens used it for a few hours @ a fall party. Nothing broke, not even the pouch. They launched miniature pumpkins with it in a “pumpkin chunking contest.” After dark, we skewered a glow stick bracelet through it and this was even more fun! Yes, it’s a slight learning curve figuring out how to work it (best distance= hold your arms up high and pull it backwards down low) but the teens figured it out without parent intervention. I know this was a “mom win” purchase because the kids were recording on their phones their launches & sharing them with friends not at the party. 1000% recommend.

I'm a physics teacher. I use these to fire water balloons at the end of the year. Pulling as far as possible, you're looking at a range around 60-70 meters, not 500 yrds. The hammock for the balloons is also poorly designed and will hold the balloons without launching them forward or simply pop the balloons on release. We replaced that. The foam handles also fell apart under the strain of firing within a couple launches. It works, but don't expect anywhere near the ranges listed.

This has a bit of a learning curve, as it takes a little getting used to, to learn how to get this to work well. But once you have it figured out, this provides a lot of fun. We use this for pep rallies to launch T-shirts to our students. Works great!

I was really happy with the way this launcher worked while it was being used. My biggest beef with this was the handles. They both got torn apart on day two of use. Nothing that a little electrical or duct tape wouldn't fix, but still. I got about 1000 launches from this before the blue elastic band snapped and the majority of those launches were done by kids who weren't pulling it back too hard. I was using a rig that I built rather than having two people holding the handles, so I'm sure this took a little heavier toll on the launcher, but I was expecting a little more longevity for the price.

I purchased this launcher as a one time work event toy without a whole lot of expectations of it holding up. I was completely surprised. Not only was the charity event a success but my group put this thing through a test and then some. For 3 hours straight and some 500 balloons later, this launcher was stretched to approximately 15 ft back from point of origin. It shows no signs of wear. Well worth the money and this game is now being repeated at a wedding event, who knew it would be so much fun? I do recommend keeping your team of holders about 4-6 feet apart to keep the balloon pocket more concave shape when launching.
