Wonderful flavorful candy!

these are organic. I'm a big fan of the movies Food, Inc. and King Corn (Standard Packaging) which focuses on how most of our foods are made from corn. The corn I speak of isn't a corn you'd want to eat because this type of corn has been sprayed with disgusting pesticides etc. Essentially, this is what candies are made of. They are labeled as several different names you wouldn't recognize, but mostly you'll see high fructose corn syrup. Knowing this, I went out and bought the variety pack of this candy as a healthy substitute. I must honestly say that a few of the flavors really were disgusting, and I immediately spit them out. I was giving bags away. Curiosity got the best of me though, and I wanted to know what the ginger flavor tasted like. YUMMY! spicy and sweet! I was hooked and have been buying this candy ever since. If you try one flavor, try this one. Best of all, NO CORN SYRUP!

What do I want? The best hard-candy peppermint. A "deluxe" model of the classic starlight peppermint candy, if you will.Point: this is a hard candy like a starlight. Those hoping for a soft mint - like a standard after-dinner mint - should not consider these. Those people should try the excellent Eclipse peppermint mints. Chewable, strong (but not too strong) flavor and sugar free!Point: the candy is smaller than a classic starlight peppermint. The starlights are about as big around as a quarter; these, about as big around as a nickel, or have the size of the starlights. I like the smaller size.First impressions:a - the candy tasted *sour* to me. After the first 20 or so, I got used to the sourness and the candy was more appealing (acquired taste) - but I wish that it didn't have to acquire that taste!b - the candy *only some of the time* had a hint of *ash* flavor. I suspect that one of the ingredients may have been burned in the particular batch that I received. I especially noticed the ash flavor if I drank water during or immediately after consuming a mint, but I also noticed it at other times.c - the peppermint flavor is a little on the weak sideLater impression:At one point I popped a second mint into my mouth when the first was only have-dissolved...and I discovered that the taste was suddenly *much* better. The peppermint flavor was satisfyingly stronger, and I also tasted (not always, but occasionally) a hint of fruitiness in the flavor. (Just keep one mint in each cheek - try it!)Conclusion: I would have rated this 2 stars from my initial impression (sour) and 3 stars after acquiring a taste for the sourness...but the pleasant flavor I found consuming two mints at a time causes me to rate it 4 stars. Even so, I am not really satisfied - that is, I have not found the "better than starlight mint" that I was seeking. I've just put in an order for See's peppermints, which are supposed to be excellent...

These are so good, I eat a bag a day until the whole order is gone. Yeah, I know, I sound like a pig, but these are extremely addictive. I suggest leaving your wrappers out so you know how many you had or you'll overdo it. I don't order these often because if I did I'd weigh 300 pounds. I've had every root beer candy you can imagine, lots of generic minute market, off the wall brands ever since I was a kid. I know my candy. This stuff is divine and I feel a whole lot better eating this than that other garbage, which can't compare in taste or quality of ingredients. I only eat this and Claey's Candy Root Beer Candy (which I usually get at Michael's craft store and Tractor Supply for 1.99/bag). I much prefer this one though, although my waist and hips would disagree.

We have been ordering the YumEarth Organic Ginger Zest drops for a long time. In the last order there were 3 boxes and the first one that was opened contained the Ginger Zest drops. Tonight we opened a new box and it contains Wild peppermint flavor organic hard candies so then I looked in the 3rd box and it has pomegranate pucker organic hard candies. We have never ordered those last two flavors at all. I don't know what happened but we are not happy about this product change without advising us before shipping. If you look back at our order history you will see what I am saying.

I love these organic candies. They have a wonderful flavor. All of them. I tend to suck on them and whenI am in bed.The dentist won’t like it, but it gives me moisture in my mouth and they taste really good
