Crunchy
These are just as pictured: flat, croissant-shaped cookies/biscuits. They're crunchy and buttery and sweet, but not overly sweet. In fact, they have that kind of burnt or caramelized sugar taste to them, which I like. My complaints are the excessive packaging and the price, which seems a bit high for what it is.

Gone stale
It was delicious at first, crunch and yummy. But it became stale after a week. It was even wrapped one by one separately with desiccant packet.

Tiny hard pieces made chewing a little precarious
Surprisingly these are low in salt and added sugar, and only 100 calories each. So from the label it all looks good. They have a nice, strong crunch. I dunked them in hot tea and it took a full 15 sec before they started to soften. That's hard! The flavor is really buttery. It's actually almost a burnt flavor so I assume that's why they say "scorched". And I think under $2 is not expensive for a special treat these days. That said, I'm giving 3 stars since I'm having a so-so experience. I don't love the burnt flavor, but my real concern is there are some very hard little bits mixed in when you're chewing. I'm an older person and it felt like they might break my teeth, which is why I started dunking them, but those tiny hard bits survived. I'm guessing it's caramelized sugar from the scorching process. Anyway, be forewarned if you have delicate teeth. Finally, I should mention about 2/3 of them were broken (I'm not dinging them for this since I don't know when it happened, just saying they're delicate), which is worth considering if you intend to put them out on a platter, i.e., make sure to buy the big package of 30 so you can put out full ones and keep the broken ones for yourself to enjoy :) ps - I opened my second box and while the above is all still true, the second box is a little less of everything than the first (burnt..hard things...broken), so it could be a QC issue and my experience with the first box may not be normal.

Buttery and Fun
This is such a fun snack! I didn’t really think it would taste like a croissant, but it does! Crispy and flakey with a bit of sweetness and salt from the butter. These are quite good, and the crunchy texture pairs well with a lot of toppings and flavors. I would love to see these in a smaller size that I could use as a base for appetizers. I like to have one on its own with my afternoon tea, and I also sometimes crumble one on yogurt (a couple arrive crumbled and I decided to try this, and it worked pretty well). The downside of course is the price - these are fairly costly, so it’ll have to be a treat item and not an everyday thing for me, which is too bad, because I really like them.

Unique and crazy good
I've never seen any food product like this. A caramelized, croissant-like pastry that tastes great with a nice crunch. These are not overly sweet and pair well with a hot beverage like coffee or tea. They are packed well, though a few of mine had broken in transit. Being flat, they are easy to stow in a lunchbox or backpack. And at only 100 calories, they are a guilt-free treat. While they seem expensive to buy so many at once, at less than $2.00 each, the price is in line with other packaged snack cakes like Tastykake or Hostess. If you are looking for a unique snack, these are a wonderful choice!

Sweet snack
Love this croissant! It’s really new to me because it looks flat and dry but taste is 100% really good and all my friends loved it too. It’s sweet but not too sweet that you won’t want one more. It’s easy to eat so you may eat more than you wanted. Very good taste.

Buttery goodness
These are delicious but not so good to have too many on hand due to difficulty refraining from eating all of them in one sitting. I wish these weren't so expensive!
