Important to have in any flight kit bag. Great coverage and battery lasts. We also like to listen to air show traffic and local airport communications if driving by.

This works just as expected. Channel selection is easy to adjust via the dial, or manual input. Volume seems fine, and I am hopeful for battery life. I do like that I can see the battery charge easily on the screen.

Radio quality: Quality

I really like the feel and the operation of the radio however the radio still has the same issue of poor front end rejection as the previous Icom airband portables making the radio vunerable to interference. I have used other airband radios from other manufactures such as Vertex and their Airband radios do not have the receive interference issue as the Icom does!

Radio is good once you get used to how to select and save frequencies into groups. Not too intuitive. Pity the Aero1 app does not connect either on iPhone or iPad.

Son buenos radios, orientados a comunicaciones aéreas. Pero ya se quedaron un poco desactualizados. La posibilidad de cargarlos por medio de USB C, o incluso poderlos cambiar a cualquier idioma están limitados. En cuando a la calidad, sigue siendo de los mejores, es robusto y bastante resistente.
