Works well as an AFO.
Thank you soo much. OK, so I'm a retired surgeon. I'm 75 and developed a right foot drop from Anterior Tibialis Tendonitis compartment syndrome 11/24. I have loss use of my right peroneal nerve. I have been struggling with walking due to the foot drop after about 1-2 blocks. I received this AFO today and walked over a mile with complete comfort and stability. I enjoy walking again. OK. So adjust this AFO as needed. If you're getting this, you have some mechanical skills. Put your foot fully in the AFO and mark the end of your toes. Use scissors to trim the end. File the end to make a taper. Place the AFO in your shoe, then place your foot in the AFO and attach. It works fine. Thanks.

Works well.
I have neuropathy and lymphedema, mostly in my right foot which also led to foot drop and frequent falls. I leave the brace in my sneaker, and can slide my foot in easily. I think even without the brace, my foot drop has improved. I was worried because it is narrow, but it works well for me. The only problem I have is with the velcro, not sure how long it will last.

Painful. Fake reviews.
No humans’ heel is that narrow. I’ve got small feet and couldn’t fit my heel in without squeezing the crap out of it. It caused swelling and pain. The bottom piece sticks out past the end of support behind the leg so it’s extremely difficult to put a shoe on. It shifts around and pulls my foot to the right. Overall a total waste of money. I threw it in the trash half way through my shift or is post pictures of how ridiculous the fit is.

Not perfect!
This is not the first drop foot brace I've ordered so I know what works. The positives include being lightweight and thin - so it fits into my sneakers (which I wear a full size bigger than used to for the braces.) The negatives include having the heel too narrow so it rubs after wearing for a while. Also, there is no padding on the plastic that goes around the back and sides of my calf. I ordered adhesive foam, very thin to accommodate this. Overall, even with the negatives, this brace works and that is what matters the most.

It’s works but it could be constructed better
I bought this for my tendonitis in my ankle. It works, it keeps me from bending my foot but the construction is cheap. It does t have anything to hold the brace to my foot. I had to use athletic tape to keep it secure. The straps around the calf and ankle are just glued on. It’s just a cheap design.

I'm glad I purchased this brace.
I purchased this back in September and I just now started wearing it. I have foot drop, this is wear your toes drop and you can't pull them up to properly walk because of nerve damage. Sometimes if you don't lift your leg high enough your toes trip you and you fall. I started walking with a cane because my balance was off to eventually graduating to a walker. Not fun for this 61 year old grandma. I have started physical therapy for the 2nd time, so, I brought the brace to the physical therapist and they helped me with putting it on. I was STUPID for not wearing this brace! It really does keep your toes elevated so they are not drooping to the floor to where you trip over them. I wear it to work and I have noticed a huge difference. I can walk more normally now and I hope to get some of my balance back after physical therapy. Don't hesitate for the price it is worth it.

The comfort of the fit.
The orthopedic foot & leg support works great. It truly did what it was advertised to do. I would buy it over again. Good Product !!!

This brace just doesn't meet my physical needs-
I am searching for another AFO that is light weight and can be used in my many different shoes to avoid wear and tear on my prescription brace when I change shoes. My prescription brace is less than a year old and already showing cracking due to changing shoes for my active lifestyle. But I am not satisfied with this brace- I was thrilled how light weight and sizing was true but plastic foot doesn’t have the necessary “flex” for my problem; there isn’t any cushion to protect from rubbing bear skin and absorbing sweat; it would soon lead to chaffing and skin breakdown. I’m disappointed that this brace isn’t the one to meet my needs.I'll still be searching! I am VERY impressed with your prompt attention and ease at returning the brace and refund. Thank you for great customer service.
