That's the downside... I bought some IKEA furniture that unfortunately was damaged. Instead of returning the product, I asked if I could repair the furniture with some wood putty, but this is not a review about IKEA whoopsies, but about the product I used to repair my unit - the putty. Application was simple - thin layer, dry and then repeat until you have a good repair. Then sand it down and you're good to go - except for the painting bit... The product takes a bit of time to dry, but it has held very well and and has made a bad corner good again. Well recommended if you have a ventilated room and are prepared for the smell. It is durable and I am happy. Go for it for fixing dinged up furniture.
