Review: Good price/ does the job - Of course you can buy better and more expensive ones, but I decided to try these as it’s only for now or maybe once or twice a year. I have to admit they did the job — they were useful on ice and snow, although maybe less on snow, but when there was ice underneath you could really feel your footing was secure.
Review: Improved grip - I am giving 4stars as I only wore them twice before the snow & ice disappeared but have to say they greatly improved my grip on the twice I wore them.

**Q: Would these be good for moss/algae covered river rocks and boat ramps?**
A: I don't see why not. They are simply slide on cleats. As you would wear playing football, or golf.

**Q: Will the large fit over a size 10-1/2 hiking boot, or should I get the xtra large?**
A: We bought these for my 30 + son who hikes a lot. I asked him your question. He said the large should be the size you’d need for a size 10 and a half boot.

**Q: Would these be good for moss/algae covered river rocks and boat ramps?**
A: They weren’t the greatest in snow. They’d slip off our shoes and the pegs would come off (lost quite a few) because they’re removable. Not sure how’s they’d do on rocks and ramps.  I’d splurge on some good hiking shoes or water shoes with plenty of tread. That might be enough.

**Q: Will these work on dirt trails without snow?**
A: I believe they would work on dirt.  The spikes should be just long enough to give you the stability you are looking for.

Very effective for the price. Easy to fit over my boots. Kept me upright on sheet ice on Alpine walks. Could easily put them in my pocket when I wasn't using them. Came with some spare yellow spike/buttons but none of the originals have fallen out so far.
