I have spent a small fortune trying to find a natural deodorant that actually holds up but Magsol Hunter is in a league of its own. The scent is exactly what I have been looking for because it has a sophisticated earthy tobacco base with a hint of sweet almond that smells incredible. Beyond the fragrance the functionality is where it really wins because the magnesium formula neutralized odor all day during a heavy workout without needing to reapply. Unlike other brands that feel like sandpaper or leave a thick white mess this glides on completely smooth and does not irritate my skin at all. It is rare to find a minimalist formula that actually performs like a clinical strength product while still smelling this refined by the evening.

The Hunter scent really just smells like fresh pine/spice or another winter fragrance, which I really love! The scent lasted most of the day for me, which is great for a natural deodorant. Only used a couple swipes for each arm and it didn't leave any marks on my clothing. The shape of the deo itself is perfect for your underarms too. It is a little pricey, but imo a great value since it seems to last pretty well!

I’ve tried a lot of “natural” deodorants over the years, and most of them either irritated my skin or stopped working halfway through the day. MAGSOL’s magnesium deodorant in Sandalwood has honestly been one of the few that checks all the boxes. The texture is super smooth because of the sweet almond oil — it glides on without that gritty baking soda feel, and it doesn’t leave my underarms itchy. The Sandalwood scent is subtle and clean, more like a soft woodsy note than a heavy cologne, which I appreciate. What surprised me most is how long it lasts. I can go through a full day of errands, toddler-wrangling, and cooking, and still smell fresh by the evening. No weird residue, no staining my clothes, and no chemical smell mixing with sweat. If you’ve got sensitive skin or you’ve been disappointed by other aluminum-free options, this one is definitely worth trying. It’s gentle, straightforward, and actually does what it claims.

2025 Review Unfortunately, I have to change my review on this product as the ingredients have changed and it no longer works as it once did. I would rather the company raise the price as the costs of ingredients inflate instead of changing the formula. A tube of this deodorant used to last me 7-9 months. I would put it on once a day and I NEVER stunk! Now I have stinky pits all the time and even having to either wash my pits and reapply midday or I'll cake it on again with no positive results. Ive included a picture of a tube I bought in 2024 vs 2025. Incredients have changed. No more essential oil, but now "frangrance" and magnesium oxide is now "magnesium hydroxide" which are different. Also, the original tube used to say "100% natural", the new 2025 tube says "clean natural deodorant" but no longer States it is 100% natural. Such a shame! Will not be purchasing again. Especially at this price point of around $20. I'd be happy to pay a few extra dollars and have the original product. 2024 Review This deodorant lives up to the hype. For a natural deodorant its effective and goes on really smooth. It lasts forever too. I bought back in March and am still using it and I apply it 1x-2x a day. And you dont need to cake it on either like you do with other deodorants. Sometimes I almost feel like it could be using its effectiveness but then i take a tissue and wipe down the surface of the stick to remove any dirt, sweat or dead skin that I may have left behind and its as good as new! I like the sandalwood scent. Its not my favorite fragrance of all times, but it isn't obnoxious or unnatural smelling. If youre worried about the price, dont. One stick will last you most the year. Would recommend!

My husband loves this deodorant. Sandalwood is also one of his favorite scents. He said the deodorant works great and keeps him smelling fresh all day long. We love the natural aluminum free deodorants. He said it dries quickly and doesn’t leave makes on his clothes. It has a nice texture and glides on easily for easy application. A bit on the expensive side but worth it for such a great working deodorant.

Possible the best smelling thing ever! I wish this scent came in lotion, body wash, shampoo and conditioner! Smells like sandalwood but sweet, clean slightly like inscence but subtle. Sometimes sandalwood has a slight powder smell that i hate and this does not. Absolutely amazing! Going to try the Jasmine too.

Normally the product comes in a box but this time it was in a brown paper bag. Plastic like this does not play well with thin paper. One of the sticks was damaged so it won’t work. Will try to return the one somehow. For the deodorant, it works well and smells nice. Does not irritate my skin.

Both my husband and I have been using MAGSOL Deodorant in the Sandalwood scent, and so far we’re very happy with it. While it’s been cold where we live and we haven’t had the chance to test it on a hot day yet, it does a great job controlling odor. My husband has experienced skin sensitivity with other natural deodorants in the past, but he hasn’t had any irritation with MAGSOL. Although it’s marketed toward men, it works just as well for women, and the Sandalwood scent is subtle—not overpowering—and feels appropriate for anyone. I also appreciate the simple formula with just four ingredients: beeswax, sweet almond oil, magnesium hydroxide, and fragrance. The only thing I’d love to see in the future is an unscented option or one made with clearly labeled natural fragrances, as the fragrance type isn’t specified. Overall, this has been a great find and one we’ll continue using.

Smells like a bad Avon/Mary Kay lotion from the 80’s. I’m sure it works for some folks. Pretty much zero patchouli smell. Disappointed.

Perfect unisex scent. I share it with my husband. It really protects. My husband worked outside in heat and humid 35 C. It stayed well for 8 hours. I will buy more.
