Polar A370 is a sleek and sporty waterproof fitness tracker that helps you stay on the pulse 24/7 with continuous heart rate monitoring, advanced sleep tracking and Polar unique workout features. Review: Best fitness tracker that I've had and I've had quite a few - This is a nice easy to use tracker. I've had cheap and more expensive trackers and this to me is the best. I have had it now for 3 months. I replaced my Garmin Vivosmart4 with the Polar A370. It's so much more accurate. I can get more info on the tracker than I did on my Vivosmart4. After I had it for a while my Vivosmart4 had wildly inaccurate heart rate, stairs, step tracking. I contacted Vivosmart4 and upgraded firmware and it didn't fix it, so I bought the A370. I believe the A370 is quite accurate. When I first checked, it was quite accurate. Steps were possibly 5-10% off. I compared heart rate to a finger monitor and it was about the same. Exact accuracy is not a big concern for me. I use it to benchmark activity from day to day. The buttons to wake the device and to navigate are good - much better than my Vivosmart4. On the Vivosmart4 I could accidentally turn off my workout, or set something off if I rested my hands behind my back, or bumped it. I have a small wrist, 5 7/8 inches and was used to the small size of the Vivosmart4. I thought it might be too clunky, but it looks fine. Also, I can easily read it in sunlight (unlike the Vivosmart4). Some people mentioned that they had trouble connecting to their phone. It always connects for me. The A370 does not have stair tracking but that's not an issue for me. Also, some people mention the short battery charge. I do wish it were longer. However, I just plug it in when I shower, sitting eating dinner, or watching TV in bed at night. It usually isn't fully charged, but it doesn't run out of battery this way either. The band took a bit of getting used to it. If the elastic holders are further away from the buckle it's easier to get the strap into the elastic holders, but I would prefer a normal strap holder. I'm not a runner. I use it for daily activity, weight training, walking, stepper and low impact aerobics. The app is good - at least as good as others that I've used, and there is a web based app as well that's quite good. Review: Great Tracker After Fiddling With It But Keeps Poor 24 Hour Clock Time. - You really need to read the manual for this. So too, as others mentioned, the Polar mobile app worked poorly for me (constantly re syncing) on my iPhone 6s , although it works fine on my Dell Desktop Computer running Widows 7. Setting it up thru the watch and app took some time but works fine now. To have it stay on continuously you need to press and hold with your finger above the calorie counter where the "flame" appears and then after a few seconds a "light bulb" will appear indicating the display is now on continuously. This setting is not retained after turning off the watch or exiting an exercise. Update: Question: What watch does not keep time? Answer: This A370 fitness watch. I left this watch off for a few weeks and lost over 5 hours of time on the clock. Big boo!!

Great Tracker After Fiddling With It But Keeps Poor 24 Hour Clock Time.

So far, so good!
I plan to update this if I run into any issues. I’m just 6 hours into the Polar a370. I have a smaller wrist and the small fits perfect. I was expecting the band to be too long based on a few reviews I had read but it’s just right. When I first set it up, it was reading my resting heart rate as WAY higher than it was- it was 60 and the tracker was giving me 110. I was super disappointed but then I fully charged it and restarted it and the reading has been accurate since. It was accurate at resting and during a workout- I stopped and manually checked my pulse multiple times. I love the options for the clock face and I plan on changing it up frequently as my mood changes. I’m curious to see the battery life and will update if it is disappointing.

Easy to use and long lifespan
After 2 years of continuous use my A370 finally died this morning. Using the continuous HR monitor daily and tracking 4-5 workouts I would only have to charge every 4-5 days. It is also durable, I'm a mechanic so I needed something that wouldn't easily get snagged or damaged. Wearing it at work there have only been a few instances where I needed to remove it because it has a tall profile. Over time it has taken a beating and gotten a few scratches but it has continued to function. I've used it for multiple types of workouts and the wrist HR sensor typically gave the same reading as a chest strap sensor. The only time there was an appreciable difference was when the heart rate would surpass 188bpm or fall below 67bpm. At ~67bpm it would assume the device was disconnected. Around 190 bpm the sensor seemed to hang up for a minute before it would track normally, where as my chest strap would continue showing the fluctuations. It does not offer extra for running workouts or any type of distance based workout. It will show you distance but any GPS data will require you to have your phone connected as well. The polar app for this watch it very clear and easy to use. Syncing the watch to the app was easy and I very rarely had to restart my phone because it would fail to sync. The data in the app had clear directions and understandable graphics. At a glance you could get an idea of what your activity looked like for the day/week/month.

Outstanding Fitness Tracker
I use this watch for strength training however, more importantly, tracking my heartbeats per minute during cardio. It is very active in doing so. Great sync with my phone, gives me a great way to track my calories burned during a session as well. Cool, Lil feature I like is that the watch will vibrate to get my attention if I've been sitting too long, texting an onscreen message for me get up and move around.

Great concept, but disappointed
I've had a gazillion fitness trackers. All of them. FitBit. Apple. Jawbone. $20 random watch off Amazon. ALL of them. I'm a fitness competitor and my heart-rate and activity is incredibly important to me. I love love love my heart H1 rate monitor from Polar. It's amazing. Five stars. *Worth every single penny.* My Apple Watch died, so I bought a $20 fitness watch off Amazon. Honestly.... It was great. BUT, Of course, I wanted MORE. I was so happy with my H1 that I thought this Polar watch would deliver. Plus it had decent reviews ... so, why not. My $20 watch was okay, but this $130 watch (and of course $109 two days after I bought it)., MUST be better. .... it wasn't. At all. This watch is mediocre at best. Feedback (sorry, the list is long): 1.) I want to know the time regularly. When I lift my arm 50% of the time it activates and I can see the time. That's cool. But it doesn't always work. I get it. No problem. But I want to just hit the screen and have the time pop up (lke ALL OTHER WATCHES), not have to press a side button. 2.) The date needs to be on the home screen. 3.) my steps need to be on the home screen (my $20 POS did it with half the space, so can you). 3.) the bluetooth syncing is horrible. Horrible. I had a temper tantrum in spin class week over it. So embarrassing. 4.) There is ZERO customization of the home screen (or anything)_. 5.) It needs a longer battery life, although it's not that bad. I charge it when I shower and one night a week and it's happy. 6.) Multiple apps (Beat / Flow) is dumb and confusing. 7.) Why is it twice as big and do half as much? 8.) Fashionable wristband option. I'm a working professional and hate this big watch. I'm disappointed in the watch. I wouldn't recommend it for the money. Polar has amazing products and has an opportunity to kick ass and deliver, but this watch didn't do it. Sorry.

I really love this watch
I really love this watch. I lost my older Polar A360 so needed another. THe upgrade is phenomenal. More accurate activity and heart rate tracking and more detailed summaries of sleep time and quality. The band is also much improved! I needed a small but they didn't have it in the color I wanted so I ordered the medium and it fits perfectly fine. I hate I lost the old one but I am loving the new and improved Polar!

So far so good!
I purchased primarily to help keep track of my HR and sleeping patterns. Watch arrived quickly in spite of current conditions. First charge barely lasted 24 hours but since then charge holds longer. First few days made it clear my sleep is a lot more disordered than I thought which may explain my constant tiredness. Will update this review in a month now that I'm more confident about working out. As an aside: really wish electronics today would come with a guide book or link to a more detailed pdf. Tired of having to watch a ton of videos to figure out how to use product I purchased first hand. UPDATE - AUG 2020 I've had watch for 4 months now. So far my battery lasts on average of 72 hours if I forget to charge. I usually put watch to charge while I'm in the shower to prevent it from ever running all the way down. Its been easy to upload workout summary to the Polar Fitness app and having account linked to My Fitness Pal has made keeping track easier. I've finally pushed through plateau I had hit! My only complaint is the band. After 4 months its already loose and I should not have to purchase a replacement so soon.

Does an excellent job with few flaws
Likes; slim and does not catch in my sleeves, stylish in a minimalist way, the battery charges while I am in the shower and I don't have to hang around while it charges. Dislikes; can take some time to sync with the app and the app software assumes that people sleep for a continuous period. As you get older, you discover that this is not true and it is underreporting my sleep periods, generally two separate ones a night.

Great heart rate monitor watch and activity tracker!
This is a great watch! The colour is as shown, but you are still able to change the bands. The heart rate monitor is very reliable, but I believe wrist heart rate is just not as accurate as chest heart rate. The sleep tracker is a very neat feature, and I did not even realize that I could receive notifications from my phone. As a runner, I highly recommend this watch!

Affordable product
I was using the A360 earlier and is impressed with it. I wear it all the time and feels comfortable. With A370 the strap is a little different. But it is worth for the paid value.

Fantastic
Exactly what I was looking for, for my training needs. Records all I need to know and easy to sync with my phone. I didn’t want anything too fancy, just a watch I can wear during workouts and that’s it. No chest strap required. Would highly recommend

Casi perfecto...
