Absolutely wonderful. Easy to use, no scent left behind. Durable and able to go at least 3 months without having another treatment. Would recommend.

Why is it always the case that as soon as I find something that works fabulously, it becomes unavailable when I need to buy more. I cant praise this product enough. It is the only product ( and I have tried most of the most popular makes) that managed to clear my water heater enough to switch off the descale notice and the only product to clean my husbands tea flasks of stained limescale build up. Guess I will have to search for it online because now I have found something, I do not want to go back to testing other products and throwing money away! Please get this back in stock!

The product is ok but it wasn't the strongest formula I used. As I live down south and heavy lime scale in kettle is a thing. I had to use 2 tablets for 2 cleaning to clean kettle out

These work great at descaling kettles.

I purchased these on 15th August 2021 for my Melitta bean to cup machine. As others have said in recent reviews, the plastic is wrapped so tightly around the tablet you need a really sharp knife to open them. Not too much of an issue but prepared to be frustrated if you think you're just going to tear the wrapping off in a single swipe. The real problem I had/have is that when I threw the tab in to the reservoir it just stayed there, didn't do anything. I've learned to grind the tab to a powder in a pestle and mortar (chopping it up to smaller pieces will only result in lots of smaller pieces not dissolving). I'm only reviewing now as I'm getting to the end of the box and the coffee machine needs a descale soon but looking on here they still seem to be getting good reviews, so I'm prepared to give them another chance, as value for money. I'm giving 3 stars as they did work, and at far less cost than all of the other coffee machine descalers out there, but there's a lot of grinding, stirring and sitting about waiting for them to fully dissolve. For me. I really hope it was just a bad batch as I'm going to purchase another box, hopefully they'll be much better but I'll let you know on this review either up or down, if Amazon will allow me to review an old purchase. I hope that this was a bad batch 3 years ago

Easy to use and work well. I live in a high limescale area so need to use descalers often. Will buy these again.

I would like to add to this comment, after trying a few different times i found out that if you only fill the kettle with about 1 or 2 cups of water and only let the kettle half boil not full boil. Once i only put a cup and a half of water and half boiled the lettle. I fould the tablets worked really well and done the job. I only wish the instructions clearly stated how much water and to only half boil the kettle , otherwise if you fully fill the kettle and fully boil it, then you will end up in a dangerous situation like i have explained below.(EXTREMELY DANGEROUS) DO NOT USE IN KETTLES... I should take legal action. I used this product in my kettle as directed by the instructions and half way through my kettle boiling, the tablets started to foam up and water started exploding out the kettle spout and flodded my work top with 2 liters of boiling water.. I stupidly tried the test again with the kettle filled only halfway and again the water burst out of the kettle spout and burned my hand and neck as well as flooding the kitchen and water pouring off the worktop all over the dishwasher underneath which I could not clean up straight away as the water was still boiling hot..

DECALCIFICAZIONE DE LONGHI JOVIA 250 DOLCE GUSTO 1. La decalcificazione va fatta quando accendendo la macchina il tasto è arancione e non verde. 2. Mettere 1/2 Lt acqua di rubinetto tiepida/calda (40 gradi) nell’apposito contenitore e farlo sciogliere con una pastiglia (ci vogliono circa 2’ minuti). 3. Tenere premuto il tasto accensione per 5-10’ secondi, la macchina si accende e la luce arancione lampeggia (significa che la macchina è pronta per il programma di decalcificazione). 4. Se ci fosse, prendere il copri capsule trasparente e inserirlo, altrimenti, si può anche saltare questo passaggio (la decalcificazione e va fatta con il porta capsule inserito). 5. Mettere la leva sul caldo, fino a che tutta l’acqua non ha riempito apposita bacinella. 6. Alla fine, mettere la leva in posizione stop. 7. Sciacquare il contenitore acqua e riempirla di acqua di rubinetto, sempre tiepida 8. Ripetere l’operazione, senza pastiglia. 9. Procedere a un terzo passaggio, con acqua fredda, impostando la leva sul freddo, invece che sul caldo. 10. Spegnere la macchina. 11. Se tutto ok, dopo un paio di minuti, accendendo di nuovo la macchina, la luce sarà di nuovo verde e non più arancione. 12. Può essere che il primo caffè non sia perfetto, ma poi tutto torna come prima. A) ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. B) Consegna Amazon perfetta, meno di 24 ore dall’ordine, con Prime. C) La confezione contiene 20 pastiglie, ciascuna da 16 grammi, quindi, se tutto andrà come previsto (oggi ho fatto il lavoro per la prima volta, non ho uno storico), il processo di decalcificazione si potrà ripetere 20 volte (prodotti online, allo stesso prezzo, consentono 2 o 3 decalcificazioni, la prima volta è stata veloce e perfetta, ora la macchina funziona di nuovo al 100%). D) Possibilmente, stare attenti a non toccare la pastiglia con le mani, ideale sarebbe farla scivolare dentro il contenitore dell’acqua, evitando il contatto con la pelle.
