Under the spine of the Talking Bible, there is a port where a USB cable can be plugged in. The Talking Bibles do NOT include a USB cable or power adapter.

how easy is it to change from one scripture to another?

I don't know of an audio bible that changes from scripture to scripture, this certainly doesn't; however, it does change from book to book in less than a second, and back and forth, and does the same with chapters. It is lightweight but of sturdy construction. The recorded voice is pleasant and soothing, perfect for scripture's listening. Love my bible.
