Nearly Natural 16in. Cedar Bonsai Artificial Plant

This bonsai is amazing. Worth the price for the quality. $55 IT’S A DEAL !!! Let’s start with saying that I went to a real bonsai nursery shop. The real bonsais of this dimension and look goes from $1000-1600. In addition, this style of bonsai is meant for outdoor, kept indoors they will die. I was searching online for an indoor bonsai not too overpriced, and I found this one. It was only $55 so I ordered it. It came, and it was beautiful!! However, the plant pot and the roots of the tree looked fake. So I decided to buy another pot on Amazon and repot the tree. The repotting process can be little challenging because the base of the plant is attached to plastic pot. I had to improvise and use home tools to cut it. In the end, it worked out! After putting the tree in the new pot, I added some soil and sprayed some water to make it look more real. The result as you can see in the images and the video is stunning!!! Anyone who wants a bonsai of this style for indoor, I highly recommend this one!!! The price is a deal!!! And the plant looks amazing!!!! Must give a 5 STARS !!!

These really do look REAL when viewed from three or four feet away. I tweak the shape and position of some of the branches and foliage a little to make them look less perfect but you wont find another brand that looks as real as these do. They are worth the money. The only thing that could be better is right around the base of the trunk of the tree.... they have a weird line there where the flocking ends but you can fix that by brushing them with a small wire brush to remove some of the flocking and make the transition more random looking. I transplanted a few of mine into my own bonsai pots that I liked and added my own gravel and miniature pagodas and such, but I also kept a couple of them as they came. I have one inside the house and the others outside mixed in with some real bonsai-ed plants... no one can tell the difference. when the sun is on them there is a slight sheen to the foliage but you can spray them with "dull coat" like you do for models and it will eliminate that entirely. You can pick up dull coat at a hobby store.

The bonsai branches and trunk look very realistic until you look at the very uniform roots and the straight line of the moss on the trunk. You can see it on other reviewers' photos. I didn't use any tools like someone else did. I just pulled the bonsai out of the cheap looking plastic pot. It's just attached to styrofoam and a plastic base within the pot. I bought a really nice bonsai pot from Amazon, used black river rocks I had and just weighed the plant down and it stays. No anchoring needed. Granted, it doesn't have soil like real bonsai. I'll probably buy some tiny pebbles and sub out the large black rock for those, and then put a couple large black rocks for accent. That way it will look more like how real bonsai are potted. But it looks pretty good! And no maintenance needed is the best if you love the look but don't have the time or motivation to care for real bonsai.

I added 1lb of small multicolor river rocks to make it look even more realistic. Good price.

I was looking for a few days everywhere online for either a real , preserved tree, or fake. I really wanted something nice for a center piece on our fireplace. I read a bunch of reviews everywhere on everything and decided to take a chance and buy this one and figured if i didnt like it I could return it. Let me just say after all the research and wonder not knowing what im going to get. this tree came in the mail and was absolutely beautiful. really easy to take out of package just opened the box and pulled it out. Im no expert but everybody that has seen it thinks its real. you can tell when you get rite up on it but you still have to look closely. My wife and i loved it so much we ordered the 3 foot one for our bedroom and are waiting for it to come in. we just ordered it yesterday so it should be here soon. what a great buy Im very impressed with how it looks. Even the greenery isnt like a bright shiny color it looks very real. i put mine in a new pot with some flat stones and it looks freaking awesome. trust me if your looking everywhere trying to make a decision i say buy it. I dont own a real one but this tree is awesome. and no i dont work for the company lolololol. I just know i was searching all week trying to make a choice with what to buy and im so happy this worked out for me.

As subject line states - reviewers of this faux bonsai have wildly varying expectations. I keep Bonsai and have real versions of these so come Prime Day and this popped into feed, I bought two different sets from this manufacturer. The trunk looks fake, especially where the sprayed on moss cuts across the trunk line in a straight line. The greenery isn’t silk but is a plastic. Overall, this looks mediocre so I’m surprised about the rave reviews. I intend to use these trees as backdrops in home office where no one will get close enough to notice but I did buy preserved moss to cover the unsightly “moss line” on the tree trunk and to cover the obviously fake roots/dirt, which are sprayed on. Those with higher expectations should know of the shortcomings of this fake tree and be prepared to return it if it doesn’t match their mental image. Just read the “critical” reviews to determine whether this’ll meet your needs.

Delivered on time and I am very happy with the purchase. It looks real and looks great on the fireplace.

This turned out to be a nice little tree! Works really well with my decor and gets quite a few compliments. I wasn’t a fan of the plastic pot and the grass look, so ended up swapping it out with a ceramic Bonsai base and made a little rock garden instead. For anyone looking to replace the container, you will have remove the styrofoam grass to get at the bottom of the tree as it is secured quite well to the base. I ended up cutting it off, and used some Construction PL adhesive to secure it to the new pot. Overall I’m happy with how everything turned out. =]

It's perfect. Even nicer than picture. Exept the vase is bigger than It looks. Over all 5 stars!

Perfect. Exactly what I wanted. I added small white stones to the base for added beauty. Highly recommend.

Looks really nice except for the pot is not ceramic it is just plastic. But the tree itself looks really nice!

For a fake bonsai, it is really nice. Just what my sideboard was missing
