Hermès Caleche For Women. Soie De Parfum Spray 3.3 Oz

Caleche has a most wonderful smell! I have used it for 45 years and was glad to find it on Amazon

I love real Caleche, but this ain't it, folks. There's just a faint scent, not at all like Caleche, when you first spray it on -and even that goes away, in minutes, to nothing. I've asked friends to use this on themselves, we've sprayed it in the air and asked other people if they can smell it, and it's a dud. Maybe I should have been warned by the odd wording under product details ("This product is made of high quality material," "keep in cool, dark places,") and a list of fragrance components that is totally different from what the real manufacturer, Hermes, gives. I'm returning it and will buy elsewhere.

Was having a hard time finding The Caliche fragrance and was excited to find on Amazon.

One of the few remaining classics in the perfum world. The very quiet and elegant way of seduction, in a pretty loud world.

Though I have never traveled the world, this perfume allows me to feel like a veteran globe trotter It is sophisticated without being obnoxious. I genuinely feel like a woman of intrigue and experience. Though fanciful, it is fun for a homegrown rose.

I'd rate this a 3.5. Caleche EDP is very elegant and feminine. A true woody chypre. It is a classic sort of fragrance with a slight edge. My first impression of Caleche on my skin, was that it reminded me of wine. Caleche is a full-bodied & velvety Italian wine, with juicy tannins framing a balanced acidity. Caleche EDP I save for special occasions when I want to feel classy & sophisicated. It's not a scent I would want to wear everyday nor, is it a scent that is 'me', but it is a masterpiece in it's own right.
