This watch face is big enough that if you need reading glasses you can still read the time with out them. The self winding mechanism is really cool and interesting. This is a good quality watch for the cost. My only concern is that if you don’t wear it for 2-3 days it stops working and you have to reset the time after you put it on again.

I needed a watch that wasn't battery operated because for years when I'd wear a battery operated watch; the battery would die in about 6 month, some time 8 months. Plus apparently smart phones, tablets/iPad can magnetize the battery in a watch ... so far this watch is working great. Pros Once I had the right tools and understood the vid, it was easy to resize the watch While it's face is almost the size of a man's watch, it still looks nice on my narrow/small wrist Its beautiful! Cons Took a while to understand the video instructions While it comes with 1 piece to help you resize, you also need a small (almost jeweler) hammer to put the pins back in It is a little heavy, Ok a lot heavier than a lady's battery watch The face is almost the size of a man's watch

Not a reliable watch, Good looking watch but consistently stops every 2 to 3 hours and needs to be rewound. Unreliable I don’t recommend!!!

You get what you pay for. The watch is attractive, but it has many downsides: (1) it keeps poor time, gaining ~9 minutes per day, (2) the power reserve in the spring is very low, less than a day, and (3) the luminescent hands don’t stay energized longer than an hour, so useless during the night.

Got this for my daughter. She loves it. Battery watches have not been her friend. This watch has no battery and keeps wound by movement. A full winding without wearing, lasts 36 hrs. So far, it has kept perfect time. At first she thought maybe it was too big. It does sit high on the wrist, but she really likes it and doesn’t think it’s too big anymore. I would certainly buy this again.

Beautiful watch. Not heavy on my wrist. Has clamp closure. Fits my medium size wrist perfectly. I like that no batteries are required. Well worth the price. It is not a thin, watch I usually wear for church, but it totally fits in with my dressy and casual clothes. Good quality. .Easy to set, couple of twist to get it started, then go.

*Review posted after a solid month of daily use. You get what you pay for. It’s a beautiful piece for everyday wear but you do need to wind it daily. I’ve found 6 turns at dinner time keeps it going. After roughly a solid month of wear, my watch band needs replacing. It is not top grain hide and does not hold up. My watch face also has a chip out by 12. The glowing hands work for a total of 15 minutes. Do not expect to be able to read it in the middle of the night. Would I buy it again? Absolutely. Is it a 5 star bargain? No.

I love wearing it. I didn't like smart watches. (Who wants a mini computer strapped to their wrist?) Also, my body chemistry kills watch batteries within a week so I can't wear my old Seiko. I love the ticking sound because it's very soothing. I enjoy winding it up and setting the time if by chance I skipped a day. I purchased it 4 months ago and I get lots of compliments on it. I highly recommend.
