I saw some reviews mentioning that the center webbing is plastic and not metal, but honestly, I don’t understand what people were expecting for under $20. A 100% metal gate at this price point? That’s just not realistic! The metal edges provide excellent durability, and the plastic webbing is very sturdy and well-made—it’s more than enough for keeping kids or pets safe. The installation was a breeze, and it fits securely in the doorway without any wobbling. The lightweight design makes it easy to move if needed, and it’s strong enough to handle everyday use. For this price, you can barely grab a meal at McDonald's, yet you get a reliable safety gate that does exactly what it promises. If you’re looking for a luxury, all-metal gate, you might want to spend five times as much. But if you’re after a practical, well-designed, and budget-friendly solution, this is the one. The combination of metal and high-quality plastic makes it a tremendous value, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a no-frills, effective gate. Five stars all the way!

These gates are made of plastic and they’re very cheap plastic. My one year-old literally pushed up against it. I think he threw his whole body weight against it, which is 20 pounds and it snapped in half. The gates are horrible to get in and out. I thought it was gonna be a great idea to be able to easily remove and put back, but it is not the ease of use is terrible! It does not work well! Stability is nonexistent, it does look nice when you have it up, it just doesn’t hold…. Literally snapped in half.

Love this gate! Easy to set up the first time and love that I don't have to drill to install it. And now that I've set it up the first time, I don't have to readjust it every time I take it out - just pop it in and out of my doorway. I bought the 2-pack so I could use one inside my house, and one outside at the bottom of my deck stairs to keep my pup on the deck. Also, the black color looks great in my home - glad I had an inexpensive option that wasn't a cheapo wooden frame with a white plastic panel in it.

It works, it's fine for the price. But it's not really all that smooth, you find yourself struggling to adjust it and if you have an active dog that will jump on it, just forget it lol...So if you are looking for it for dog protection or baby protection, I wouldn't recommend this one. Mine thankfully does not jump on it, I just have it out on the deck to prevent my dog from going out into the yard when I don't want her to go out. So it works for what I need.

These are great! Easy to install, easy to get through. Would recommend for the money too! They're as cheap as those flimsy wooden and plastic ones and a hell of a lot more sturdy, easier to install and easier to get through. Would recommend.

Great quality gate for 19.99, very sturdy. I can tell it will last us for a while. I like that you set it to your desired width and that’s it. Unlike with those cheap tension rod gates, where I can never find just the right slot for the rod. No drilling required. The cups stick to the wall, easy peasy.

I didn't read the reviews or the product description good, I didn't realized its plastic and its thin plastic. Perfect for crawling babies but questionable for one year old and up! If my one year old or dog force to open it they mighy break it because the material is just cheap. Tricky to assemble I wish they give extra sticky pads because its just hard to make everything in place before you can see if your evenly attatching it so I wasted one sticky and I just used other stuff to stick it to the wall. I am not happy with this purchase but no time to return it so might as well use it till it breaks but I won't trust it for kids
