After searching through reviews, I decided on this air pump. I just added it to my aquarium attached to a sponge filter. Well, I'm happy to say it is so quiet! Very low hum, quieter than a filter, very slight rattle sound but disappears when dialed down to low. While still having a strong stream of bubbles, good air output. I do love the adjustability, and all the accessories included. I like that it has a second nozzle, if I end getting a second sponge filter for this tank. Just what I wanted and affordable! We'll see how the performance is over time. Quality seems good. Overall, first impression, I'm very pleased how quiet it is.

I purchased this aquarium pump for use on my 40 gallon fresh water tank that was recently cleaned. I had a similar style of pump that had died and needed a replacement. For the price, this is an excellent pump. Not only does it allow you to dial up or down the air pressure, the two outlets allow for plumbing in additional air stones. In my case, I used the included "T" connection to join both outlets into one hose and used it to run my puck-shaped air stone that provides great aeration. This puck stone requires quite a lot of pressure to run properly and this pump handles the job just fine. For the price, it's an excellent air pump. I've only been running it for a few days now and while it's nearly silent and provides great pressure, I'll be sure to update this review if that changes prematurely.

Can be loud or quiet depending on how well and consistent your tunings, connections, and air stones are. I recommend getting all matching air stones so you're not struggling to balance them all like I did.

This is an awesome little air pump here are the pros and cons for me. Pros: - small, quiet and doesn’t rattle around - all the parts work as desired and are intact - I like that it has two nozzle attachments and both seem to receive equal air flow - standard size comparable with my sponge filter Cons: - the lowest bubble setting is still too fast for delicate fry. But this problem is easily fixable crimping the tube. - this is not problematic for me but worth noting that the bubbles produced by the air stone are not extremely fine like something you would get out of a diffuser.
