CrossWave OmniForce Edge Cordless Wet-Dry Vacuum Cleaner 4017E

Does what it says on the tin.

I had a Shark Hydrovac previously, which was fine, but it basically never even hear of corners or edges, let alone had the ability to clean them! So I replaced it with the BISSELL CrossWave OmniForce Edge, on the basis of it's edge cleaning ability, and the brand. It's well designed, extremely easy to use, has strong suction that picks up and mops well, and is reasonably priced for what it is. However, I would caveat my review by saying that while the edge cleaning is great, it is only on one side, so there WILL be corners that you can't quite get into as you would want. I'm not an engineer, but it must be possible to design a true edge cleaner for left and right. If the next version of this has this feature, I will jump on it! But for anyone coming from any of the hard floor cleaners I have used before (Shark Hydrovac, Samsung Jet spinning sweeper attachment, Tefal Aqua Force attachment) I can say that this performs better, is much more versatile, and I'd highly recommend it.

This was my favourite buy of last year. Easy to use, hoovers and cleans the floor at the same time- game changer! Easy to clean once used too. Isn’t heavy at all too which is great. Battery lasts well, but if on the max power mode can run out quicker, but it does charge fast which is great.

It may suck debris from a hard floor, but forget about it if you think that it is going to replace your mop. It just puts a wet sheen on your floor without going near any marks or dirty hardwood. Equally useless as a vacuum I'm afraid, despite claims.

What a fantastic tool this is. I have tiles and carpet in my house, and the vacuum part of this works great on both. The head of the vacuum is really maneuverable and easy to get round corners - getting into areas my usual vacuum never seems to. I love that it is cordless so no need to drag the cord out from getting stuck around doors etc., but honestly the power is such that it makes no difference to other corded machines. It is really easy to put together - instructions are spot on and really easy to follow, my one slight issue is that I keep forgetting how to put the rollar back in after I have given it a wash after cleaning my tiles on the wet cycle. Quick read of the instructions and I can't believe how easy it is, but yet I seem to get it so wrong! It is really simple to switch between modes, empty the dust/dirty water bottle, and also to fill up the clean water bottle. I also love that it comes with a docking station so once you have used it no messing with plugging anything in, as the wire goes into the docking station, and it charges up as you store it. It is pretty quick to charge fully, so even when I have run out of charge - if I have hoovered and then mopped, it is quick to charge back up. I have a number of floor cleaners, mops (electric, normal, super spinning etc.) and other gadgets, but this is by far my favourite. For all I got one on vine, I actually already bought one before I got one through the scheme and I have to say it was worth every penny, excellent back saving cleaner and a joy to use

I can't believe I waited so long to buy this because of the price. It is worth every penny. So easy to use. I have a dog and had pretty much given up on clean floors because it was such a chore but now I just use for a few minutes every day and have clean floors 24/7. It's brilliant. Really happy I chose the cordless one. A note about the Bissell cleaning solution. So many reviews mention how expensive it is but it is 7x concentrated. I used a 2 litre bottle and mixed in 280ml of the solution and it lasts ages. Fill up to water line then add solution, easy.

Do not waste your time on this model, if you want a true clean dry floor and a machine that can achieve that I would suggest the corded version. The cordless version is not strong enough and leaves a good amount of water behind. I bought this one for my house and corded one for my restaurant and the corded one is amazing. Cleans and dries soo much better than this cordless one

I have Lvt floors that never seemed to be clean unless you scrubbed the floor on your hands and knees. The Bissell Crosswave it brilliant as it hoovers and mops at the same time and you can see the dirty water in the tank so you know your floors are clean. It saves alot of time and the cleaning fluid smells nice. My only negatives are that after every use after the self clean you have to rinse out the tank and then leave the filter and roller to air dry before using it again. So I then purchased another roller and filter. You also are recommended to buy a new roller and filter every three months. You can buy non branded replacements but just an additional expense. The cleaning fluid also needs to be purchased as the sample bottles last three cycles. I would still recommend though as I think it's a great machine, it's also fairly quiet and my dog doesn't try and chase this one like he did with my Shark hoover.
