Purr-fect Choice for Fussy Felines – Great Value and Variety!
I've been feeding my two rescue cats this Felix Ocean Feasts in Jelly pack for the past few months, and it's become a staple in our household. As a cat owner who's tried countless brands, I appreciate how this product strikes a solid balance between affordability, quality, and appeal to even the pickiest eaters. First off, the flavors – cod, plaice, salmon, and tuna – are a hit. My older cat, who's notoriously fussy about textures, devours the jelly-coated chunks without leaving a scrap behind. The "ocean feasts" theme isn't just marketing fluff; it provides a nice variety that keeps meals interesting and prevents boredom. I've noticed their coats looking shinier and them having more energy, which I attribute to the added vitamins and minerals listed on the packaging. It's formulated for adult cats, so it's spot-on for their nutritional needs without unnecessary fillers. Value-wise, this 120-pouch giant pack at around £42.79 works out to about 36p per pouch, which is fantastic for bulk buying. No more last-minute trips to the store, and the pouches are easy to store and portion out – I typically give each cat one pouch split between morning and evening, supplemented with dry kibble. The packaging is recyclable too, which is a small but welcome eco-friendly touch. That said, it's not a premium "gourmet" option. From what I've read in cat food analyses, Felix uses meat and animal derivatives, which might not be as high-end as some boutique brands with named meat sources. If your cat has sensitivities or you're aiming for ultra-clean ingredients, you might want to explore higher-grade alternatives. Also, while my cats love it, I've heard from other owners that some felines turn their noses up at certain fish varieties or prefer gravy over jelly. Overall, I'd rate this 4.5 out of 5 stars. It's reliable, cat-approved, and budget-friendly – perfect for multi-cat homes or anyone looking for a no-fuss wet food that lives up to its "as good as it looks" slogan. Highly recommend giving it a try!

Our senior cat approves
Being honest, I've never really paid any attention to the age thing when buying cat food. But my cat has made it clear that his once beloved biscuits are a bigger effort (or less palatable?) to eat these days; he's now a very sprightly 14 years old. He tends to ignore a bowl with only biscuits and goes back to sit we keep the meat pouches whining pitifully until we give in. So these days he gets his biscuits mixed in with meat. He's not overly fussy, so long as it's a decent quality, so we do tend to buy from good brands and from Amazons own brand. But I haven't specifically bought him cat food designed for his age group. This was a decent price though which is why it ended up in his bowl this month. I'm pretty impressed with this senior Felix offering. Minimal cat food odour, and plenty of meat with the usual jelly coating around it. The meat looks appetisingly stranded, more like proper meat as opposed to the cubes of reconstituted mechanically obtained meat you often find in cat food. It's shredded so minimal chewing; I guess that senior cat teeth would approve. As would senior cats missing a few teeth, as tends to happen sometimes. Our cat likes this every bit as much as standard cat meat pouches which is important. It's easy to mix in with his biscuits and he likes it as a stand alone food (of course). I'm not sure if there's a greater calorific content compared to standard cat food as I haven't scrutinised the nutritional content but I feel confident that this reputable brand will have formulated the nutritional content for the older digestive system. I'll keep a careful eye on his weight though.

Happy cat
My elderly cat loves Felix cat food. As soon as i get up in the morning, he appears at my bedroom door meowing and purring. We go downstairs and he sits by his dishes waiting for his meat. As soon as its put down, he clears his dish purring deeply while he's eating his food. Happy cat, happy cat mum. It's excellent value for money, the quality of food in the pouches is always bang on.

Low nutrition, but ok for supplementary food
The food is palatable for cats who prefer wet food. It’s affordable and the single flavour punches are more natural than missed varieties. However, the food itself is low in nutrients so should not be the only source of food in the diet. Must be supplemented with a high nutritionally balanced kibble or other protein.

Delivered on time, best option for buying in bulk
Wouldn't give my cats anything else and when you've got 5 cats to feed and only get paid monthly, this is the cheapest and easiest option 🙂

Good value
Good value for a fussy cat - she will eat it one week and the next week she won’t, but it is always good as a standby

Tastes wonderful (so the kitten tells me!)
My kitten loves felix food! She has tried other brands and will only eat the jelly with felix she eats it all! Obviously its cat food so smells a bit really easy for the kitten to eat. Box doesn't last her long as she eats like a horse 🤣 she finishes every drop good quality food and the percentage of meat is a lot higher than some of the other brands
