Cuisinart Soho 1 Liter Double Wall Electric Kettle, Black

This is a really nice tea kettle. My previous Cuisinart tea kettle lasted me about 13 years! I hope this one lasts as long. I like that the base is exactly the size as the kettle itself and does not stick out, so it doesn't take up any extra space. The water heats up quickly; My only complaint is that they sent me the wrong color. I ordered black and they sent me the cream colored Kettle instead. I was really upset at first because it's such a hassle to return it, so I just kept it and it does bother me every time I see it because I really wanted the black which goes with my appliances, but the kettle works just the same regardless of the color. I do wish the spout would close and not just stay open because the water cools faster that way---- these are the only two reasons I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. It is a good product.

Bought to replace a more capable electric kettle that had multiple temperature settings and a catchy jingle when it was done, but it ended up failing relatively early on. This one is far simpler--on/off and goes until boiling, so I expect it will probably last longer with fewer bells and whistles (still going strong several months after daily use). If you're looking for inexpensive and effective, I recommend.

Great product, not a surprise from this brand. Holds the perfect amount of water for a couple of cups of tea. Heats up super quick. Very durable and another quality purchase from Cuisinart. Only wish it had heat options.

This is a great inexpensive kettle. It heats water very quickly. We'll see how the interior holds up to corrosion. I deducted one star because it's noisy and doesn't let you know when it's done. Except for the silence.

Gave this as a Christmas gift. She uses it a lot and likes it for a quick cup of tea. The water gets hot quickly. There were no problems with the product when it arrived since it was packed properly for shipping. It is very easy to use.
