I love my Weber Grill
This Spirit E-310 Weber gas grill is large enough for the occasional backyard barbecue and small enough for the two of us. The temperature controls are accurate so if I want to grill something at medium-high heat (375-450), I know thatโs where it is. Itโs well made, easy to clean and Iโm very happy I chose this model.

Worth it.
Excellent grill. It can get up to 700F on max. Maintains cooking temps well. Cooks evenly.

Weber good quality
Assembly was easy and arrived in good condition.

Perfect and reliable for family of 4
We bought this with the goal of doing more BBqing over the summer. The starter knobs work great and are easy to control, its heats up quickly, and has the perfect amount of grill space for protein and veg for a family of four. If you regularly BBQ for 6+ people, I would size up the grill. Weber is the gold standard and you don't have to think about it - it just works great.

Nice grille, but some subtle changes
Finally had to order a new Weber grille to replace an 15+ year old Weber that has had several parts replaced (under Weber's warranty). Prompt delivery, well packaged, but a few disappointing changes. The assembly instructions consist of pictures only, which worked for the most part. Took about 45-60 minutes to assemble. Only confusing issue was the attachment of the side shelves, which I thought were supposed to be able to fold down. Seems Weber has eliminated this feature on most of their newer grilles. With the small patio we have, this would have been a nice feature to continue to have, like I do on my old unit. The E-310 comes with only 2 wheels which are plastic. Not a big deal for me, since the grille will be staying in one place. Also, the control knobs are a plain gray plastic. Rather cheap looking for a $450 price point.Have not tried it yet (too much rain), and am wondering about the reliability of the new ignition system. May review that feature later after a few uses. Overall been pleased with the quality of Weber grilles, and hope to get many years of service out of this new one.

Great grill and delivery
Our new grill arrived on time and intact. The grill was adequately described in the listing, and we are very happy with the overall purchase and quality.

Very dangerous - AND a lousy grill
Far and away the worst grill I've ever owned. The biggest problem is that the handle gets EXTRAORDINARLY hot when you are cooking with the lid down. I've used the grill fewer than ten times and burned myself at least four times. The last time I left a potholder on the handle to remind me it was too hot to touch and I burned myself THROUGH the potholder when I tried to lift the lid. I've owned lots of grills and never seen anything like it. I tested the handle temp with a grill thermometer and it read 135F. In my city thatโs the maximum allowable temperature you can have for hot water because of the risk of scalding - not an acceptable temperature for something meant to be handled. The second big problem is that it's just a lousy grill. If you want to sear something so it has grill marks on it. get a different grill. It took about 15 minutes to put sear marks on a zucchini with the grill pre-heated for 10 minutes between 4 and 5. (5 is as high as it goes). It's like all the heat is transferred to the handle to burn the user. A hamburger cooked at the same heat just kinda turned grey. I had to turn it all the way up to get any kind of searing at all.

Solid unit, but some steps backwards vs older models
I finally replace my very old Weber Spirit 210 with a new 310 model. Overall, there are a couple of improvements, but some definite steps backwards vs. the older model.Assembly took about 90 minutes or so, allowing for dropped screws, beer breaks, etc.Improvement - The door is solid, vs the old removable, flimsy covering. However, the negatives are:- The wheels are a downgrade. The older models had wheels that allowed movement in all directions. This one just has 2 wheels, and is mainly for moving the unit from place to place. In my case, I keep the grill under my overhang to protect it from rain, then move it out when in use. With the old model, I could just pull it straight out from the wall. With the new model I have to make several gyrations. Not ideal.- The unit does not have a weight measure for the LP tank. With the old unit, I could see when the tank was getting empty by the weight gauge. With the new unit, there is no indication at all about the level of fuel remaining. I'm now going to have to buy an extra LP tank, because for sure I will run out in the middle of a grill at some pointl- The side shelves to not fold down. I don't know what is going on here, since I went to my local big box (HD) and the unit on display had folding shelves. However the unit I got from Amazon has fixed shelves. I have limited space, and this was one of the reasons I went for the 310 instead of the 210. Unfortunately I've already built and thing, so would be difficult to return, so I'll have to live with it.Overall, I probably wouldn't have purchased this unit knowing the above, but I guess I'll live with it. 1st world problems, I know.
