The most effective natural remedy for infections
I didn't get this brand - I bought the loose herb from Mountain Rose Herbs - but let me tell you, it is magic. I had a UTI, my third in as many months. In fact, I had just finished the course of antibiotics for a UTI a few days before, and here I was with another. I didn't want to take another round of antibiotics. So I tried Usnea tea. I made a strong tea using loose Usnea herb and drank it throughout the day. I put a scant handful of the herb in a 3-quart pot of water, brought it to a boil and then simmered it for 15 minutes. Then I strained it and put it in a jar in the fridge. It was very strong. Throughout the day, I put a few ounces of the tea in a big glass of water and drank that. My UTI was 90% better the next morning, and 100% gone by the following afternoon. I also have made a salve using the herb, coconut oil and beeswax that is terrific for any type of skin infection. I wrote the review here to share my experience with using Usnea tea to cure the UTI in case there are fellow sufferers out there!
