I saw that there were complaints about the instructions, so I had set out to download and compile a bunch of instruction styles to include with this when we gifted it. Well... Lo and behold, the included instructions are actually great! The paper is thick and glossed. It feels like it will last a long time. Plus! Look at these! They're very clear!

Bought this kids’ bracelet making kit for my daughter, and suddenly my dining table has transformed into a full-blown jewelry boutique. The kit comes with enough beads, charms, and string to keep little hands busy for hours—which, for parents, is the real gift here. The colors are bright, the charms are cute, and the elastic string is actually strong enough to survive the “let’s see how far we can stretch this” test. My daughter has made bracelets for friends, family, the cat (who was not amused), and one for me that I am legally obligated to wear in public. It’s creative, it’s mess-contained (no glitter explosions—praise be), and it makes for a perfect rainy-day or birthday party activity. 10/10. She’s happy, I’m happy, and now half the neighborhood is walking around with matching friendship bracelets.

My daughter is 11 and does use it to make bracelets with but it definitely takes some focus to read the instructions and understand the knots and where to put the pegs, she makes mostly keychains. She says it needs tape or suction cups on the bottom of it because it moves a lot when you are making the bracelet. You also move the pegs around depending on the type of bracelet design you choose to make. The charms are not printed they come with stickers that you add to the charm. The charms are plastic and snap together, they are not charmes that you tie into the bracelet. The plastic charmes do seem like good quality but they are just not what I expected and look cheap once you actually ad the sticker to them. The green butterfly on the front is suppose to be the lock to hold it closed but it doesn't work well and is hard to shut. Younger ages will definitely need help to actually complete a bracelet from start to finish even with the instructions.

I purchased this a gift for a 10 yr old girl with a disability. She keeps her hands in a fist though she can open her hands without any problems. I helped her in making a bracelet and she had no problems maneuvering the beads to make the bracelet. She had so much, she made a bracelet for her mum and little sister. I am very happy with this purchase. It is easy to assemble and children can have fun being creative. It is functional not only for children but also for adults with dexterity issues. I do recommend this item. It's a good value for the money.
