I am truly a basic user, check email, surf the web. I rarely play games. The 17 inch screen gives me alot more room than my old 15 inch. It was a refurbished product, looks new. The seller answered questions quickly and the product was delivered a week earlier than estimated. It only has 2 USB ports, my last laptop had 3. I do miss it as I use a mouse on it and sometimes a card reader, but then I cant plug in my printer. But it will work. Overall it will more than suit my needs.

Laptop is exactly as the ad stated it was.. it was brand new upon arrival warranty started when we got it, nothing was a miss, the laptop was easy to set up and quite fast compared to many other laptops. I use it for gaming it runs everything smoothly and is able to handle larger games which was actually surprising, the sound system is amazing I'm obsessed with watching Netflix on my laptop instead of my TV now!No need to add higher RAM unless you're absolutely bombarding the laptop with tons of things..It has voice commands, face recognisingI suggest running a mouse with it instead of using the pad, nothing wrong with the pad it's just much easier to use a mouseWell worth the money! Hoping this laptop will last another 5-6 years like my last

Bought this for my wife (Birthday). Started up with tons (I mean tons) of add on apps and utils (with ads). One of the scareware screens telling you "MycrowSwish" (Can't say the real one....) detected a virus, please pay to have it removed popped up. Completely wiped out the drive and installed a new copy of Win 10 without the garbage. Worked fine until it was dropped about armpit high - on carpet - smashed the screen and hinge. Really needs to be sold with mouse, pad is useless. Could have used a back lit keyboard to see the keys. Its speed was a little slow even for an office machines, I could live with that since the laptop had the larger screen. It was working for about a year with no hardware issues. The wifi linked to our router just fine. Battery is fixed in the machine, needed the charger for any major use. Could use an extra usb port or two as well. Bummer it was dropped.

Es un buen producto, lo que realice para optimizarlo fue ponerle un SSD y quitar el lector de DVD y en su lugar poner el disco original HDD de 1 tera, obviamente con un Caddy. Con esto emigre el sistema operativo para el SSD y deje el HDD para los datos. El lector de DVD las pocas veces que lo uso lo conecto con un adaptador al puerto USB.Con el tema de la garantía que otros han mencionado, después de conectarme entre el servicio de asistencia de Amazon y de HP se resolvió la dificultad, ellos comprobaron conectándose vía internet con mi laptop y yo enviando unas informaciones y capturas de pantalla, pues problema resuelto.Soporta Windows 11 con instalación por pendrive.Lo recomiendo.

Love it!!!!! Easy set up with problems. Took a while to get all the updates done, but soooooo worth the money. I was aware it was last years model when I purchased it and it would take a while to get a years worth of updates done. The laptop works great so far (I've had it for a month now).

I bought this laptop because I wanted something new and fast. Have had nothing but problems since day one . Pages don't load fully, load slow or not at all. Freezes up. Did all updates and troubleshooting. Contacted HP, and found out the product warranty started September of 2017. I bought it September 22, 2018. Vendor should have disclosed this. Amazon was awesome and made me whole! Thank you Amazon for the great customer service!

Love the sleekness of the laptop, works really well for me and gets the job done. The battery holds well too, the speakers are loud and audible. Setup was relatively easy as well! Thank You!

Just received it this morning, so preliminary review here.Slow as molasses with the HD that comes with it. Knowing this ahead of time, I opted to put an SSD in. The instructions on HP.com to get the bottom cover off are incorrect, took a lot longer than anticipated to do this. Chatted with HP support, they were of no help. The instructions they gave me weren't very specific. After a struggle, I finally removed it. New SSD and back cover installed easily. No problems from there.The kicker, is that they're advertising it as having a 3.4ghz processor, bit in reality it's only 2.5ghz. Not a deal breaker, but it would have been nice to get what is advertised.And as someone else mentioned, the warranty doesn't start when you activate it, the seller already activated it. Mine in particular was activated back in April, so I have less than a year left on it. They should have also advertised that up front.I'll go over my review after I've used it for a few weeks.
