Review: Review after 1 Year - I'm hesitant to write reviews on electronics after just receiving them, so I waited a year to write a review on this air conditioner. We've had this unit since July 2025 (it's currently June 2026), and it still works like a dream! We're actually ordering an additional one for another bedroom. Pros of this AC unit are that it cools FAST. The airflow is strong, and if you point the vents up toward the ceiling, you can chill a medium sized bedroom in ~15 minutes. It also hasn't had a large impact on our energy bill -- only about a $20 increase from our winter electricity bills. We generally only run the machine during the hottest part of the day (~1pm to 8pm), so if you find yourself running it 24/7 at the coldest settings, your results may vary. Cons of this AC unit are related to the noise. The machine is pretty powerful, and the sound of the air rushing out of the machine is on-par with a normal window AC unit. It's similar to a large white noise machine. The machine's on/off/temp adjustment beeps are also loud -- probably so they can be heard over the sound of the fans -- but we've learned to live with that. One neutral comment from our house is the size/weight -- we live in a partially carpeted house, and so when these machines come out, they stay where they're at for the season. They're not overly heavy, but it's an arduous task to pick them up and carry them to a new spot. Moving the machines on hard floors though? Easy as pie. There's barely any resistance. Make sure to consider the floor situation of the room you're putting this in. At the end of the day - it's 1yr later and we're still using our original units without issues. Our new unit is on the way, and we're hoping that it performs the same. If there's been some quality change in the last year, we'll post a new update.
Review: So far no complaints. - So far so good. No issues. Aesthetically very nice looking. No louder than a motel AC unit. Got this unit last year during a big heat wave or heat pump system is on the fritz. I'm caregiving for my mother and unfortunately I have to zone control her room she doesn't like it as cool as I do. So I needed something. This outfit seem to get a lot of big reviews and I like the idea that it was a three-in-one The dehumidifier was a nice plus though I've not used it I might try it this summer. Most times I just use the fan feature as it's relatively not been screechingly hot to use the AC side but when it does it keeps the library room that I'm in quite comfortable which I sleep in when it gets really too humid and hot. It is a bit loud for some people though I don't mind it I enjoy the white noise aspect but it's true it's no louder than the average motel unit. Though in future models it would be nice to see if they can develop a super low fan speed. Not much difference between high and low on this model. Soundwise. Granted portables aren't technically as efficient as window AC units just by the nature. There's a long long YouTube explanation of the efficiency between the two styles. But we do not have typical open sash windows We have three casement windows crank out style that were installed some years ago within the house so I had to prefab some paneling I used the dimension and thickness of the current window screen panel with a template Staind weatherproofed the panel. Then use the exhaust attachment that came with the unit as a template to cut out the hole Then able to find tiny screws where I was able to screw it in I'm still able to open and close the casement window. Don't forget to attach or staple or some type of bug screen on the outside so no critters bugs etc can go in up into the tube and maybe will not running end up in your house also it keeps wasp and trying to be creative. By the time and money I may have had that made out of plexiglass but that would have been an extra cost as it would have been professionally done cutting semi circular holes in plexiglass is not a simple task. But if looking out is important to you then that would be the way to go. I bought mine as a reconditioned model on desertcart so far I've always had pretty good luck with reconditioned buys It's usually means they fixed the issue. I have the unit 2 ft off the floor on a stand which helps cut down the unit from sucking in floor or carpet dust and keeps certain of the male kitties from feeling they need to back up against it to do something they shouldn't do LoL.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Compact, Cold, and Convenient – A Summer Lifesaver
*by E***S on October 20, 2023*

Compact, Cold, and Convenient – A Summer Lifesaver This little 3-in-1 portable AC unit has made a huge difference in my home during the warmer months. At 8,000 BTU, it’s sized just right for a bedroom or small office, and I found it cools the space down surprisingly fast. The airflow is strong, and when aimed directly, you can really feel the chill. I’ve used it both in cooling mode and as a dehumidifier, and it genuinely helps cut down on that sticky humidity that makes a room uncomfortable. Setup was quick—basically plug it in, connect the hose, and place the vent out the window. The included window kit works, though like others, I had to trim it slightly to fit my frame properly. Once installed, the rolling wheels make it easy to move from room to room, which is a big plus if you don’t want to commit to one spot. Noise level is moderate—about what I expected for a portable AC. It’s not whisper-quiet, but more of a steady hum that fades into the background after a while (almost like white noise). The remote control is handy at night, letting me adjust temperature and fan speed without getting up. One pleasant surprise: I was initially worried about dealing with condensation drainage, but it has a self-evaporation system. After several days of continuous use, only a tiny bit of water had collected, so maintenance hasn’t been a hassle. Bottom line: For the price, this SereneLife portable AC delivers excellent cooling, simple installation, and useful extra features in a compact design. If you need a reliable way to keep a bedroom or small space cool and dry without permanent installation, this unit is a strong pick.
