Not much to say
Didn’t work for me. Purchase it in order to connect two monitors. Failed and had to return it.Some time not worth buying cheap things. It may work for you. With the free return. Nothing to lose but a couple of days if you can afford them.

Useful for Legacy Monitors
I got this mainly because I needed an adapter to allow me to use my old VGA monitor with a new desktop computer with only an HDMI output. For that, it worked fine. Here are a few of my observations:1. The power input is micro USB. Why not USB-C?2. No power adapter is included, just the USB-A to micro USB cable. For the price, that is understandable.3. Output is VGA. There is no DVI output. Most DVI monitors also have a VGA input, so this shouldn't be a major problem, so long as you have an appropriate cable or purchase a VGA/DVI adapter.4. The audio port is for a standard 3.5mm headset or earphone. An audio cable is included, but it is very short. The audio track comes directly from the HDMI input.Overall, it worked for me as a straight HDMI to VGA adapter. Since my monitor doesn't have sound, the audio jack let me connect the unit to my speaker system for the audio, which was definitely a plus. I didn't try it with a dual monitor setup because I don't have one, so I can't say how it would work with that. As it is a very inexpensive device for what it does, I'll keep it in my setup.

Power amount in big letters
Don’t know how much power it needs to work.. maybe best you include either a power supply or say how much power you need. I plugged it into a computer usb and not enough power.. I think it does say on the box the supply but it’s super small..

Very useful splitter from HDMI to HDMI and VGA
This is a great item if you want to mirror a display From an HDMI to an HDMI and VGA monitor. I have a Linux server that I run on a computer that only has an HDMI port, and I like to be able to see it on a monitor But I also use the monitor for another computer. That is where this item comes in, with it I can use a video capture card from the HDMI port in this splitter, And cast the screen my iPad.With this review you can see a picture of the splitter in use behind my server (apologies for the mess), a closer up of the two cables out and of the iPad showing the same screen as my VGA monitor. This way I can still back on my server if I have my monitor working for another computer. You do need to remember though, that you need to bring power to the splitter with a powered micro USB cable. I forgot this at first, and it took me a long time to figure out what the issue was. After that, it worked very smoothly.I give this five stars.
