Its bledie lekker, and easy on your teeth
I ordered then immediately reordered as I ate the whole bag in one day. Yes, I've been starved of this kind of product... I so don't care for beef sticks and American jerky... in my mind meat shouldn't taste like candy (So nasty) and this is zero sugar and 100% delicious. I overdid it by eating the whole bag in one day but I couldn't help it. If any complaint, I think it could have had a little more salt, although I don't know if salt is in the recipe at all, but it was very tasty and dry yet soft to chew, a little fatty but I liked that, and over all the quality seems high, both of the product and the packaging. I'm a satisfied customer and repeat buyer. I went on to try their biltong slices and chunks and those were very yummy too.

Great product! We are from SA so we know droewors and the product was great. Packaging was intact and product was fresh and yummy

Still the best option.
Flavor is variable between batches (mostly the intensity of lamb funk)- however it's always delicious, and honestly the texture some reviews disparage is what I love. My verdict, it's a good product.

Not a fan - tasted like old meat
I was on a search for some dried beef sticks that doesn't have encapsulated ascorbic acid in them and dry wors seems to be one type that would fit the bill as they're just air-dried beef sticks. Well, these were pretty nasty to me. They tasted like old meat. As in bad meat... something was just off on them. I've tried other brands of dry wors (like the Howdy Droewors for example) and those were much, much better tasting. Maybe I got a bad bag, or my taste buds just don't jive with this particular brand but nasty is all I can say about them.

Delicious Droewors in the South African Tradition!
I'm a big fan of this company's biltong so I thought I'd try the droewors too. It is delicious. The outer casing is dry, but the meat inside is a little greasy and not overly sweet or salty. I ate two pieces in short order! The thing I like about this company is that their meat has a nice amount of fat in it. That is what makes it great for me!
