CammPro I826 Pro 64G 1440P HD Police Body Camera with Night Vision, GPS, 64GB Memory, Waterproof, 14hr Battery Life

I ordered a renewed one and got it with a broken clip. I made my own replacement from a walkie talkie and used that for a while doing security at Walmart. The video quality is great, audio is great, night vision is great. My problem is connecting it to a computer. It switches from charger mode to data mode or completely becomes non-responsive when you connect the usb to the device. When it works, you can pull the videos just like a flash drive would store them. It is relatively slow at downloading them to your computer no matter how fast your computer may be. I want to see this with a USB type C and I want the device connectivity issue fixed because when it basically bricks, I have to wait for the battery to die by sitting on my desk for a couple weeks before I can try connecting it again. This device has saved me multiple times when I’ve had the race card pulled on me. What happened was a customer claims I targeted them for being a certain race and complains to Walmart for me calling them the N word and I had it all on video and was able to show the client proof that way. I’ve been able to demonstrate to the police that I used necessary force to retrieve property. I’ve been able to use this device to demonstrate different scenarios to my coworkers as their supervisor. This is a great device but it begs for a modern update. Preferably also wireless app compatibility with both Android and Apple devices so we can quickly pull video for law enforcement on site.

I'm a law enforcement chaplain with a K9 and needed something as the brass are deciding if I need a body cam in my role. So as they work that out, I didn't want to be left with nothing as I am on calls, dealing with the public, etc... I would give this 2.5 stars...it's not horrible, but there are few things that could make this better in my opinion. It does clip nicely to my external vest. Some suggestions to improve this product. First, button placement. To turn on is simple. To turn off is not complicated, but I have to hit the power button and then press and hold it to turn off the device. To activate recording, again not so simple as it's toward the bottom side of the device. You would think one press to start recording...then press it again to stop. Nope. Press and hold. Maybe I'm spoiled with the Motorola's I've been using for the past couple of years. But when I'm on a call, my mind is focused on what is going on and what I'm to do...not "how long do I have to hold this button"? I haven't seen the video footage yet as I don't have permission yet to download video on the office computer but that should be coming soon. Overall, this camera is not ideal for what I need it for, but for other situations I'm sure it's just fine. It's covering the gap for my peace of mind in the mean time. The price seems reasonable and I have to say the battery life seems impressive.

I have no idea where the few negative comments are coming from but I have been using this camera for 6 days a week for the past month and i have had NO ISSUES with this camera so far. I've check the recordings and they are crystal clear and volume is loud. If you are having problems with clear recording how about... idk um... CLEANING YOUR LENS or take off the plastic cover over the lens. If you are having problems with you clip that just mean you DID NOT READ THE INSTRUCTIONS. You have to bend the silver piece that sticks out a little to make the clip stay. I've gotten into a few scuffles when de-escalating did not work and the camera didn't fall off and recorded everything. I'm a former Police Officer and this camera gets a 100 from me. Not a waist of money at all.
