Decent Quality, Fairly Roomy, Survival Tent for 6'4" tall person
4 Stars is my official rating on what could have been a solid 5 star tent, and here is why I gave it 4 Stars This is a pretty nice and fairly roomy for a one person tent. Has good head room, you dont have to lay completely flat, Im 6ft 4inxhes sonI cannot sit up in it, but Incan enough, and would consider myself a fan of the tent, despite its flaws which I'll explain later. I have a camping cot (86 inches x 31.5 inches from another brand) and it fits on top off /!intergrates perfectly! I would recommend that you also get a 31.5 inch wide cot or you will be losing valuable tent floor space if this tent is pitched on a smaller width cot. Rain wise, is ok / acceptable. However, there are not enough tent stake loops on the rain fly for it to be able to resist severe rain. It really needs at least one on each side (that is, one at the foot / one at the head) to keep the tent fly taut and pulled away from the tent wall by 3 to 6 inches, and also prevent it from flapping around in the wind, which flap in the wind it definitely does, and its loud, and made me a little uneasy because I thought a small animal was rubbing up against my tent the first night! Now these extra tent stake pull outs are something I can add to it, because its really easy to hand sew 2 extra tent stake pull outs where I need them. But this is something that was an oversight in the planning of this tent, and in my opinion should ne addressed. Based on experience I can guarantee myself, from my previous days, weeks, months, living in a tent, in the outdoors, in well designed 4 season tents, that in the Nightcat Cot tent, I will be getting wet in a severe rain down pour, and especially if its really windy. Because the tent fly will easily push up against the fly at the Head and Feet tent walls, and the rain pouring and blowing on to the bottom of the tent floor itself, over the course of the night will result it at least some water / wetness where the fly cannot be pulled out to prevent this, and it also could be a lot. In its current state, this is a day trip survival tent. It pretty good, but its not perfect, but with a few mods, it will be excellent!! I appreciate the overall design of this tent (which almost is exactly like a US Army / Marine issued tent, with the same flaws and the lack of tent fly pull outs) So in any case, I took off 1/2 a Star for the lack of tent fly pull outs. I also took off 1/2 a Star because the tent doesn't have dual sided doors! Now some really great brands also have only one door thats why I take 1/2 a Star off. But technically the lack of a 2nd door is worth a whole star to me, and in fact, I would buy another tent if they were otherwise identical. Maybe there are other tents exactly like this with a 2nd door, but I will keep it and mod it myself, because I think it'll be worth it, and it seem to be made well enough that it will last a long time. But consider not having a second door for a minute, its something I consider a moderate to moderately high inconvenience, and here's why. Only one door, that forces you to store all your accessible gear in the front entrance vestibule, maybe some in the back that you will have get out and walk around to access. It also limits the flexibility of this tents usage. The lack of 2nd door is also a problem when it comes to tent set up and positioning. You need to double check which way your door faces, plan where your head will be, and the way you intend to enter / exit, so I'll need to be careful when setting it up at night, and plan your camp accordingly. Yes, that is a serious limitation. Sewing the tent loops on the fly is easy, but sewing in a whole extra tent door and a rain fly zipper, is a big project, though its one I have done and can do again. For a tent I knew I would most likely use for years to come like my Mountain Hardware tent that Inknew would last a lifetime (assuming this tent holds up like Mountain Hardware brand tents), then yes, the 3nd door mod is worth it. Though I would have easily paid an extra $30 - $50 for a tent that had an extra door, maybe even more. But I will probably add these additions, because Ive done it before and it improved the tent considerably! I take very good care of my tents and have had the same modded 4 season Mountain Hardware tent for over 15 years. I modded it with an extra door, improved the length of the tent fly all around, and now it is a perfect tent even after all these years. And its a fantastic 4 person tent! So that 2nd door was essential ! Despite my cons for this tent, I would still recommend it, the pros out weight the cons and I have used it several times and will use it much more again in the months / years to come. Hope this review helps you decide either way.

Amazing tent with some room for improvement
I camped 5 nights in Moab with this tent attached to the cot they offer and it was great! Its roomy for what it is and was nice being off the ground. Setup is quick and easy. I would have gave it 5 stars but one of the rainfly clips already broke and getting the tent is a pain in the butt sometimes. No extra room at all. I still highly recommend it.

Ok overall.
The overall is good but I think the connections for the spreader bar at the top is too tight, it ripped out one of the connectors first use when trying to remove the bar from the metal loops at the top. Small repair fixed the issue but still worth noting.
