Men's 9 Pockets Work Utility Vest Military Photo Safari Travel Vest Workwear Jacket

I bought this vest to eliminate the need to carry a purse during low-cost airline flights. I decided to travel only with a small bag that counts as a personal item, and my regular purse was too large to fit inside it along with needed change of clothes, toiletries, etc. I have a sturdy, safari-style vest with multiple gusseted pockets, but it was going to be an overkill for this trip. As other reviewers pointed out, all pockets are flat with no gusset, which I actually found beneficial as the vest remained streamlined. During the trip I wore the vest on top of a thin hoodie, and I wore my regular sized fleece jacket as the outermost layer with no problem. The open pass-through pockets under the armpits were great, as I was able to carry a small water bottle and snacks in them without adding another (albeit small and disposable) bag that could count against luggage allowance. I would not use it as a work vest because of its lightweight construction, but for occasional travel it is going to be fine, especially if you unzip the front zipper while seated. It is a one-way zipper, and the bottom tends to pull if the pockets are loaded. I usually wear women's size 8-10, and a medium vest fit perfectly on top of a lightweight hoodie. It was very handy to have all necessities right on me instead of digging into a purse, and I may even travel with this vest even when I can carry my purse onboard.

GREAT vest. Design and black color make a very stylish combination. Smooth surface, no pocket flaps, subtle zippers, amazingly light weight but substantial. Could easily be worn under suit jacket or on its own. Solid construction and stitching. Amazing number of pockets of different sizes. All lie perfectly flat when empty but have great volume for holding the things you want to carry. External pockets zip so lots of security but only one inside security pocket. Size and description were accurate.

I got this vest in black for a Han Solo costume and it worked well with it - probably the cheapest vest of decent quality you could get for that purpose. It did, however, come a bit larger than I wanted, but I never wear vests if I'm not dressing up as Han Solo so it's possible that I simply didn't know how to pick my correct vest size or that the look I was going for is not what would appeal to a casual vest-user. So if you wear a large-size shirt and are trying to look like Han Solo, I feel like a medium-size vest would likely work better for you than the large. Otherwise, the color is just as the picture shows, the material feels good, the zippers work, and the stitching was well-done.

This is a light vest that is a little longer then some. I like the zippered pockets all over...no Velcro. The top vest pockets can hold an I phone 6 plus....the big one. I easily carry my wallet, reading glasses, phone, two sets of keys with room to spare. There is a fairly large zipper pocket inside on the lower third of this vest. No upper inside pockets. Overall it looks good, and is super light weight, and holds a ton of stuff securely.

After receiving a bad one, I ordered 2 more, hoping to get one with a main zipper that actually worked, because otherwise I like the styling and I really needed a vest with pockets. All 3 had main zippers that stuck, are uneven, and feel like they will not last a season. All of them had poorly sewn wavy zippers on the pockets that separate. That said, this vest looks and fits nicer than the others I've found. It doesn't have ridiculous safari pockets on the chest, hooks to get caught on stuff, and can fit my phone, keys, flashlight and tools. It appears to be washable and is lightweight and, except for the zippers, unobtrusive. The shoulders are too wide for women, but otherwise the fit is unisex and only slightly small at the hips. I kept one and I'm sure I'll be needing to repair it, but for the price, it'll do.

I thought this could be something I could wear indoors to add a little more warmth at work walking around in large building. I thought wrong. This item has no more substance then a t-shirt. Its very thin and cheaply made. The zipper is on the left side and should be on the right. I guess you get what you pay for.

As someone who loves vests and jackets, especially with the convenience of pockets, this vest delivers a perfect amount and size of pockets for any style and type of event. Casual or fancy? Not sure about fancy, but it could work anyways. Just play til you make it. Then eventually it'll be the biggest fashion and everyone else will be wearing one. Then it'll become the most normal thing and it'll be a shame to those that loved the unique aspect of it. But then people will stop wearing it and it'll become an old trend. After that, anyone that wears one will be laughed at for being behind the times, but they will once again be unique. Maybe it's best to get one before that happens, though.

I love this vest. I wasn't sure how it would fit so I ordered a large instead of a small. I did want it to fit loosely to offer easier access to my tools. I could have chosen a medium, but I'm satisfied with the large. The material feels like soft nylon and it's lightweight and cool. The multitude of pockets and their depth are amazing. I am a female who purchased this vest to carry my tools for work. I am planning on purchasing a second one for casual use. I would NOT have to carry a purse when wearing this vest. This is NOT a thick winter vest.

I wish i could give a good review, but half of the pockets were holding by a thread, and after wearing it for 3 minutes, the inside pocket fell apart and another zipper fell off. Its like everything was sewed on with a single thread!
