Solid State Logic SSL 2 MKII - 2x2 USB Audio Interface

This audio interface deserve the praise, but very few bloggers & influencer promote this awesome AI. And i guess that’s because SSL doesn’t think they need to promote this beast, so they don’t sponsor social media influencers for this product. Coz anyone who once buy it, will become fan of it instantly. I had steinberg ur22 mkii, one of my friend have focusrite 2i2 4th gen, other has audient id14.. I give it a test run on vocal with all other interface, to check which is the best among these. Focusrite 2i2 (with or without air) doesn’t stand a chance against it. Maybe people who bought them, will praise their quality. But that’s only because they haven’t use SSL yet. Note: i only talked about focusrite as it was best among the rest of the audio interface & were closest to SSL in terms of vocal recording. My steinberg was old, so it obviously doesn’t have such good preams, and audient id14 sound was clear but even below focusrite 2i2 4th gen, when it comes to vocal warmth & crispiness. Rest, i’m looking for someone with MOTU M2, so that i could compare it with that, and found which one is the ultimate buy under 30000. I wish i could buy this SSL2, when it was around 23000/- but still, 28000 is also a value for money prurchase, for this kind of interface.

It’s Good For your travels . Recording like a pro , value for money, quality of this sound card is up to the mark , if you are looking for a 15k-20k budget interface, Definitely Go for it . I had tried out lot of sound cards in past years, I tried RME baby face, UAD volt, Motu2, audient, behringer , focusrite, etc but I really liked this SSL2 mark2. The best thing in this Sound Card is it record exactly same as you hearing the instrument in natural atmosphere, and the second thing is it’s outputs are converting the same quality in Speakers. So if you are a mixing engineer, you will feel best quality in your mixs at this budget. And if you are a beginner or Home studio artist, it will record the best sound for your songs or projects. According to my experience, this SSL sound interface is one of the best interface available in Indian market at this budget. No other interface can beat its best recording quality and best output quality in this budget. Go for it . Good luck

The best audio interface you can get with the 4K analog industry console switch for that analog flavour! Two mic inputs make it the best budget Interface 🎛️ as a solo musician / music producer, it's more than enough until or unless you're gonna expand beyond a home studio / bedroom producer!

Holy crap do I love this thing. I'm a voice artist with a home studio. I've fought some rumble in my custom booth for my whole 5 year career with a 2i2. I've been considering getting this for a long time, but have balked at spending the money because an interface is an interface, right? Wrong. I recently changed computers and the new computer did not like the driver for the 2i2 for whatever reason. So after some more struggling and ultimately some problems with some finished audio that I submitted, I decided it was time to try this as a solution. Holy moly was I fighting a problem I didn't even know I didn't have to fight. The HPF on this bad boy cleared up the rumble like THAT. My voice sounds crisper, I swear my disgusting mouth noises sound lessened, and there hasn't been a single driver-borne issue with the new PC which is running Windows 11. I've had no compatibility issues with either my mic or the new PC. It was super easy to install, drivers were readily available, and even the firmware update I did was over and done in seconds. It's quite a bit larger and heavier than the 2i2, but not so much that I didn't make it work. It functions as any other interface does and was incredibly easy to plug and play. The dials and buttons are all straightforward, but the documentation will clear up any questions you might have. I also prefer the noise gauge on this one compared to the 2i2 which didn't give me a value to work with but just colors. It seemed much easier to determine if I was coming in a little too hot.
