My sofa and chairs are now stain free

Bought this for a sofa that delivered in September 2025. I occasionally have dogs that mark. This has kept urine from sticking to the sofa. It rolls right off on the occasion someone leaves a calling card. I have spilled coffee twice and it has helped keep that from being a bigger issue than it was. I would say it seems to be more effective on surfaces that are not moved regularly - like the back, bottom front and sides of the sofa. It helps on the cushions but it would need reapplication much more often. I applied it at the end of the night (dry by morning) for three nights in a week to ensure solid coverage and have reapplied once since September.

We have a C-shaped sectional with a chaise on each end and three seats in the middle. We purchased two jugs of this product and applied both to a single chaise over the course of a week using an electric sprayer. Before applying, I contacted the ProtectME to confirm it was compatible with linen, and they assured me it was. We were really hoping it would work, but unfortunately, it didn't. We carefully followed the instructions, allowing each coat to dry completely before applying the next. After both jugs had been used on just one chaise, we tested it by spraying a small amount of water on the fabric. Instead of beading up or repelling, the water soaked in within seconds. According to the company's website and application guidelines, two jugs should have been enough to protect our entire sectional. Instead, they weren't even enough to provide effective protection for a quarter of it, extremely disappointing.

I got this to use on my couch and dining chairs because they always seem to get dirty so fast, and I was honestly surprised by how well it worked. The spray barely has any smell, which I really appreciated — no strong chemical scent at all. It goes on super evenly and once it dried, the fabric felt totally normal. No sticky or stiff spots. I tested it out by dripping a little water and coffee on the couch, and the liquid just sat on top instead of soaking in. I wiped it off in a second and it didn’t leave a mark. I’m not gonna say it makes things 100% stain-proof, but it definitely gives the fabric a nice layer of protection and makes cleaning way easier. If you have kids or pets, this is honestly a lifesaver. The bottle is huge too — I covered my whole sofa and a good chunk of the rug with one application. Since it’s water-based and non-toxic, I felt comfortable using it around the house. Overall, it does exactly what I needed and I’d totally recommend it. East of use for all kind of fabrics

Satisfied the with product and great for carpet protection. I have 3 dogs and it’s does create a decent barrier between dirt and the carpet. Easy to use and does not leave a strong odor. Would recommend. Works as stated.
