It's very sturdy and extremely comfortable. The high back helps my neck and the lumbar pillow helps as well. I added another lumbar pillow because I just wanted to have more support. The leg support is manual and you pull it out when needed. I'm short so it works well for me. Not sure about taller or longer legs person. I'm also not a small person and this chair is solid for big people or heavy set. It was worth the price to not have spinal pain when getting up from my old chair.
