One of the biggest reasons I chose EZVIZ is that you don’t need to pay for a subscription to store your videos. Just pop in a microSD card and you're good to go. It records everything directly to the card, so there's no need to rely on the cloud (unless you want to, which is optional).That was a dealbreaker for me. I’ve tested other doorbells where you had to pay just to save or even access your videos—some didn’t even allow recording unless you subscribed! With EZVIZ, that’s not an issue at all.I’ve also got a few of their security cameras around the house, and I stuck with EZVIZ for the same reason: no forced monthly fees and solid performance. I can travel anywhere and still check the live feed or recorded clips from both the doorbell and the cameras straight from the app. The SD card keeps recording based on how you set it up, and it just works.The app itself is super easy to use too. I’m not a tech expert, but setting things up and managing everything through the app was simple. You can control the cameras and doorbell in one place, which is convenient.Long story short, EZVIZ makes great gear that doesn't nickel-and-dime you, and the app is solid.
