Excellent 8 in 1 combo unit.
Our old microwave started sparking. As I started looking for microwave options, I came across this 8 in1 combo unit. We have not been able to use all the features that are available. We have tried the microwave feature. It is excellent, it hits the food very quickly and effectively. We’ve also tried the air fryer, and it does an excellent job as well, the broil also works very well. Finally, we have also used odor removal, which does remove a lot of the remaining smells. The inside is stainless steel, which makes cleaning it very easy. I had a read somewhere that it is too noisy. Ours is not. In fact, it’s a lot quieter than our old unit. We are empty nesters, and did not need a family size unit. It’s not too big, not too small.

Upgrade for son’s apartment!! Perfect!! Zero complaints!!
We bought this for our son’s apartment and it has been such a great upgrade. It’s one of those appliances that just makes life easier. Having the air fryer, microwave, and everything else in one unit is perfect for a smaller space. It saves room but still does everything he needs. He loves it. He uses it way more than we expected, whether it’s heating something up quickly or actually cooking a full meal. The air fryer feature is a big win. Food comes out crispy and tastes so much better than a regular microwave. It also looks really nice on the counter. Clean, modern, and not bulky or awkward. It feels like a step up from the typical basic appliances you throw in an apartment. If you’re setting up a dorm or apartment, this is such a smart buy. It’s practical, easy to use, and feels like a real upgrade.

Air Fryer not as good. But Over all great microwave.
Great however, the air fryer isn't as good as a regular air fryer. But def worth to air fry left others. Definitely takes some getting use to with the knob.

Cool to the touch!
I installed this unit in my RV and have had nothing but good experiences with it so far. I regularly switch from broil, to air-fry to microwave; I am just careful about making certain I am not using metal in the microwave mode or synthetics or paper in the broil mode. The feature I most appreciate is the PROPERLY ENGINEERED HOUSING! I can set this unit to Hell-hot and still touch any portion of the exterior without having to deal with the sickly smell of my burning flesh like I do with the Breville B0V860 BSSUSC, which I am reliably assured by all AI is perfectly normal. So if you want a quality air fryer / broiler / baker / microwave, choose this unit with confidence. This is especially true if you do NOT enjoy hearing the sudden shrill screams of agony jerked from the lips of small children or the blood curdling howls of a beloved pet after touching the Breville B0V860 BSSUSC.

Safety Issue?
FYI: Read the Consumer Report prior to purchase. Paste of their findings: If you've ever worried that your electronics may have a mind of their own, this story could increase your fears of home appliance dangers. In June 2026, Consumer Reports (CR) issued a safety alert that certain Toshiba microwave units were causing scary issues like smoking, sparking, and even igniting fires. This was caused by the microwaves or air fryer and microwave combos overheating. The reports indicated that this stemmed from the units starting on their own or adding heating time without the button being pressed. Between January 2023 and April 2026, customers filed 28 incident reports about the appliances with the Consumer Product Safety Commission, according to CR. Owners of the appliances have also been turning to social media to warn about these safety issues. Consumer Reports is urging people who own these microwaves to be extremely careful. Toshiba air fryer and microwave combination models ML2-EC10SA, ML2-EC10SA(BS), and ML2-EC09SA are of concern. Regular microwaves with model numbers EM131A5C and EM925A5A-SS were also reported. Juan Alberto Arguello, PhD, CR's test program leader for product safety, explained the dangers of these malfunctions and the precautions to take. "If you have one of these appliances, your safest bet is to monitor it while it's operating, don't leave it unattended while in use, avoid storing items inside the microwave, and unplug it after using it," he said, adding. "Plastic and insulation overheating can produce hazardous fumes, including formaldehyde or other toxic compounds, depending on the plastics and coatings involved."

Sounded Great !! Keep Undamaged shipping mat'ls until you are sure
I cannot say how this oven performs simply because I do not know how to use it as proposed. ** I do not recommend this oven to anyone not thoroughly familiar with MICROWAVE and AIR FRYER and CONVECTION OVENS, or the COMBINED applications of these features. I recommend separate appliances for newbies. I will probably be returning it. This old lady is too old to have to discover how to use this device through trial-an-error. *** Word of advice: KEEP ALL PACKAGING MATERIALS, undamaged, until you are certain this oven will serve your needs. PROs: * I did receive the package in a timely manner, undamaged, and clearly unopened * Yes, it does condense counter space into one area, but ... * It may be ideal for many who already have experience with air fryers and convection ovens, but not for me. * Has option to manage cooking (or mistake) odors once finished. CONs: * there is very little documentation with it. Lots of "DON'T DOs" but very little information on how to actually use it * If it were not so big (heavy), I'd return it. * Is it safe ? I see no reference to any sort of safety feature to prevent accidentally using metallic accessories (racks) in the microwave mode ! * it is of little use for more than a simple, overpriced microwave if I do not know how to SAFELY use the other features that drew me to choose this oven. Practice on un-important snacks first. Don't start with a critical or expensive food or recipes. Keep NOTES! You'll need to create your own reference documentation. Plan on a steep learning process. There's little I'd call "intuitive" about this oven. BE BRAVE! but BE AWARE! (I have prowled the Internet looking for books to help me decipher this mystery, but have come away with only a few books put out by Toshiba. They are of no real use to a newbie. Don't bother. Seems Toshiba has decided to leave it to the customer to figure it out.)

Convenient combo unit. The only improvement would be to add a keypad.
I bought the 8-in-1, 1.0 c.f. combination unit and have been using it for 2 months. It wasn't hard to learn how to use it, but the controls are a bit different, and sometimes I miss having a keypad. When inputting cook times or temperatures, you turn the knob by increments (10 seconds, 25 degrees, etc.) and select, so it's not as precise as it would be with a keypad. There is generally enough control. I have had to adjust one recipe so far because of this, and I wonder if the well-used knob will be the first thing that wears out. You also set the kitchen timer feature the same way, by increments. Pro's include the stainless steel interior, the glass door, the bright LED inside, and it runs pretty quietly - more quietly than my last microwave, anyway. I also like the option of having a small oven so that I don't have to fire up my full-sized one. I have used the air fryer, microwave, and convection oven functions, but not the air fryer/convection oven combo. (There is no combination that includes the microwave.) I am not able to compare the air fryer or convection oven to dedicated appliances. (I have read that combo units generally lack the power of a dedicated air fryer, but this unit crisps up frozen breaded fish fillets, anyway.) Overall, I am happy with it and would buy it again.

Quiet Microwave
Very happy with this product. It takes a little bit of getting used to on the timer and other controls but everything is well lit and easy to operate. It is also so quiet when operating. I think it is a really good product and reasonably priced.

Great Product, Even Greater Seller!
I absolutely love this 8-in-1 Combi Microwave! A common issue with other combo microwaves is that they’re underpowered—but not this one. You can adjust the temperature to fit your needs, which makes a big difference. Just make sure to read the instructions before using it so you’re not caught off guard. Enjoy! ***The seller, Rose_Range, has been amazing. I had some difficulties with a different seller regarding a separate order, and things got a little confusing during a chat with an Amazon Associate. Even though Rose_Range had nothing to do with that situation, they still stepped in and helped—something they weren’t obligated to do at all. Their support was incredibly thoughtful and above-and-beyond. It’s easily the best customer service I’ve had on Amazon. If you’re considering buying from them, don’t hesitate—they truly care about their customers and it shows.***
