There are so many flat irons on the market at all different price points it's hard to know which one to purchase. I wasn't sure about this particular iron because I was not familiar with the brand and the price was so much lower than I'm used to seeing for quality hair tools. After reading and comparing I decided to pull the trigger and make my purchase. I should have bought this a LONG time ago! I have very curly long hair and was in need of a new flat iron. My previous iron was not able to get my hair as straight and left it frizzy on the ends. It was taking such a long time to complete the straightening process and even touch ups took forever. This new flat iron is amazing! It has several heat setting that go to 410 degrees which is the temperature I typically use. It heats up super fast and keeps when ready for use. It has a vibration feature you can turn on/off. I am able to straighten my hair very quickly as each section only requires 1 pass. It leaves my hair smooth and shiny. My ends are not frizzy and they even look healthy unlike with my previous iron which left them looking dry and frizzy. I am very pleased with this tool and I no longer dread straightening my hair. I have also noticed I don't need to touch up often - even after sleeping on my hair. I think it's because of how well it removes/prevents frizz. There's really not a single complaint. It looks nice and there's some weight to it, but not so much that it's hard to use. It's well made and fits well in your hand. The display is clear and easy to read. I am so glad I gave this a try before spending a lot of money on one of the more popular brands that also come with big price tags. It works great and it's unlikely spending more money would result in a better Flatiron than this!

Omg this is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING PERFECT WHERE HAS THIS BEEN ALL OF MY LIFE. I only do reviews for a product if something is really good or really bad. So get ready lol I had to look for a straightener to replace my ION one stroke that I had for 7 years. I was holding onto it desperately lol. I researched and looked for weeks and it came down to this and one other. To be honest, the other looked more appealing but the price on this made me choose it. THANK GOD I DID. Girl. I have semi thick hair, but I have 3 different curl patterns. I'm mixed with 4 races so you already know it takes an hour or more to do my hair. This straightener said "Hold my beer sis" and straightened my hair in 30min flat. And made it soft. Its magic. Thats the only explanation. It heats up fast. Has a lock mechanism. It has so many great qualities that I immediately texted every girl I know about it. 10/10 hands down. The Ion one stroke I had didn't even do what this does. I still had to go over the section of hair 3-4 times. Not with this. I'm in love. It also has good cord length. And cools down relatively fast. Worth every damn penny 💕 Only thing that could possibly make it any better for me is if it came in red at the same price, because thats my favorite color lol. Get this one, you won't regret it.

I have fine hair, and this doesn't catch and break my hair. It does a good job straightening & doing waves. I just clean it after each time, and it seems to still go over my hair pretty smoothly, not creating any visible breakage. I like the temperature setting choices. The only thing I find annoying is the vibrate. If I leave it plugged in it remembers I had that setting off, but it I unplug it, I have to turn off the vibrate again.

I am very happy with my purchase. I have been straightening my hair for 30 plus years and this straightener is the best I have ever purchased. It heats up super-fast and has multiple heat settings which I love. I have frizzy curly hair, and I have never had a straightener straighten my hair so quickly. One pass, two at the most is all it takes, and my hair is soft and shiny! I would also like to say customer service is outstanding!! Ruth genuinely cares for her customers and has always answered my text in a timely manner. In fact, she contacted me via text the same day I made my purchase asking if I was happy with my purchase and if I had any questions. Customer service like that is rare to find these days. If there is anything I would change, it's the size of the straightener. I have arthritis in my hands and the 2" plate is a little wide for me. I suggested an option for a lighter, slimmer 1" plate to Ruth and she said she would certainly consider it. Again, I am very happy with my purchase and highly recommend this straightener. Updated review 3/5/25 Unfortunately, my straightener quit working 2 weeks ago. I contacted Ruth via email and explained what the issue was and she immediately answered me. She requested a video and a couple of pictures so her team upon receiving the video could review it and hopefully figure out what went wrong. She had a replacement straightener on the way which I received within a week. I have not had any experience with someone who truly cares about their clientele as much as Ruth does. She totally stands behind her product. She is amazing! I love this straightener. As I said in my previous review, it’s a must for someone who has frizzy curly hair like mine. Wow! Best flat iron I have ever used!! I have very curly hair and I can use this flat iron for very straight hair, with a bit of a flip at the ends. It heats up so quickly (in seconds) and beeps to let you know it is the correct temperature. The swivel cord makes it easy to use without getting twisted. I needed the auto shut off feature. Many flat irons do not have this, but this one does!! The addition of vibrations (which can easily be turned off), is amazing. I usually only need one pass to get my curls straightened. Compared to other flat irons in this price range, it rises to the top Love everything about this flat iron and would buy it again.

I was new to using a flatiron on my long, naturally curly/wavy, thick, coarse hair, so after extensive research based on my hair type and the features I wanted (to protect my hair from heat damage), as well as the rave reviews I read, I purchased the Ella Bella in September 2024. I absolutely loved the product immediately, and I still do. It's easy to use, heats up quickly, temperature controlled, and it has a vibrating feature, which I love. It effortlessly straightened my thick hair quickly where I didn't have to go over sections of hair several times (causing less damage). Unfortunately, after a few months, the red LED sensor showing the OFF and temperature setting started flickering and acting crazy, and then it would shut itself off. I was upset with myself because I had failed to register for the 2-year warranty, but I still contacted Ruth (the owner) to let her know about the issue. She was very kind and willing to help me despite the fact I hadn't registered for the warranty. She asked me to send a video to show her what I was experiencing. However, when I tried to do that, I couldn't recreate the issue, which was frustrating, but after a period of time, it started working again all on its own so I was thrilled. Fast forward several months later and I again started experiencing issues, but this time it would just stop working (no light flickering), which I only realized when I could no longer hear or feel the vibration. I would unplug it, give it some time, plug it back in, only to have it work for a few minutes before it would shut down again. I contacted Ruth again to let her know about the new issue I was experiencing. She offered to send me a replacement after I sent her a video showing the issue along with my original ordering info, shipping address, etc. However, when I plugged it in to do the video, it wouldn't turn on at all. I sent Ruth the other info she requested and explained I wouldn't be able to do a video because it wouldn't turn on now. She then asked me to send her a video of me plugging it in to document how it didn't turn on anymore. As soon as I did that, she sent out a replacement and I received it within 2 days. And I didn't have to spend any extra money to ship back the first flatiron, which was really appreciated. I can't say enough nice things about Ruth and how she stood behind her product and made things right...even after I had failed to register for the warranty. It's not very often anymore where a company will go out of its way to make things right with the customer and it was immensely appreciated!! This is a GREAT product and one I would recommend purchasing despite the issues I experienced. I honestly believe this was just a fluke and I just happened to get the one that decided to act up. Again, great product and fantastic customer service...thank you, Ruth!!

Great product , I loved it ! Once you buy an Ella Bella product , you become part of the family . Great customer service , 24/7 . Not very often you get this attention to detail . Recommend it 100 %.

Awesome flat iron! Best one I’ve ever had

By far the worst flat iron I've ever used (I'm sorry Ella Bella). My cheap $35 flat is beyond better! This one REAKS of burned plastic and the vibrating plates rips my hair out! It's SO painful to use. I'm so disappointed at that price!
