I had a shelf that's been sitting in my garage for years because I moved and lost the metal bar to hang it up on. It has a mount on the back of it, attached like it will never come off so I was thinking I was going to have to contact Pottery Barn for a replacement and so I procrastinated for literally years 😂😂 then I had an aha moment and decided to see if I could just order a new one and use the part that I was missing and leave the other side on the shelf since it is never coming off ha ha without wrecking the shelf. Worked perfectly took my husband five minutes to put it up. SMH

I order the french cleat hanger to mount a cabinet in our bathroom into the studs as I am very skeptical of using wall anchors for anything that may involve heavy weight and movement (such as opening and shutting the doors). I did add two heavy duty anchor to the middle of the cleat for added support in the middle. The cleats were long enough to extend across 2 studs, ensuring stability. They are not too thick therefore keeping the weight against the wall for added support. The cleats come with 2 bumpers to add to the bottom of the cabinet to help keep the cabinet level perpendicular to the wall and to protect the wall. After hanging the cabinet which when full may be from 30 - 40 pounds, I am satisfied with the sturdiness of the cleats. I only had to use one for this project, but wanted a backup cleat for future use. Very satisfied with this product

I use french pleat hangers for all the artwork I install for residential and commercial clients. They are easy to install and pictures never tilt unexpectedly. My clients love the look and the knowing they won’t have to walk around and adjust artwork that has tilted.

Used these for my dartboard cabinet outside so I could bring it in when not being used. Nice and light and seem to hold just fine. Will know over time, but does what I need it to do.

Bought a mirror that had a cleat already on the back so we needed its complement. Once we decided on the center hole, used a level (you need a level!) to mark the other holes locations. Then it's just a matter of putting in the anchors and screwing everything in. Everything slid together very easily. The wife is happy.

These are great. We needed to hang mirrors in our new home. These were so easy to use and to level the mirrors! Seems sturdy as the mirrors have not fallen off the walls yet, my husband hung them so the odds that it was done correctly are in my favor.

I bought these to use on fitting a headboard to a wall but found them to be too lightweight would be ok for a big picture.

I used it to attach my headboard to the wall above my bed. I wanted a piece that would cover two wall studs in the wall. Works great. Was able to hang it and move it to where I wanted it along the wall.
