Works well and easy to use
Well, one of the things I like the best about this is the price not only as the item itself not terribly expensive, but the test strips to use with them are also inexpensive. Iโve been used to paying almost $25-$30 for 50 test strips and these test strips are very much less. I also like the fact that it has a large screen, and it is easy to read and understand. I like the fact that you donโt have to code it all in all this is in my opinion and extremely good item a very good price.

Used minimal blood and is super easy to use
My dog had diabetes and itโs been tough finding a way to measure his sugar without a huge sample. I have spent tons of money on machines and strips because of errors. This machine is great. Cheap strips, tiny sample size, and fast reading. It keeps records for me and even does averages. So glad I found it and even better that itโs a great price.

These test strips are a racket.
I've used a Bayer monitor in the past and never had an error issue like with this Easy Touch Health Pro one. SO many test strips wasted if you don't get it just right. Those things aren't cheap either! Why the strips more expensive than the actual monitor?? Also I bought the wrong strips at first: I said Health Pro and I bought em. Found out the hard way that they also have to say Health Pro and of course they were more expensive. So here I am with 2 boxes of $30 test strips I can't use. Just know that there is a learning curve when you start with this monitoring system. It's not as fool proof as others and there a ton of unnecessary functions that you probably won't use that make the set up complicated and stressful. What a racket these test strips are...

I like the new glucose meter. I don't have to push a button after ii insert the test strip. ... and it was less expensive than from the pharmacy. ๐

Ripoff and scamp
The kit is useless if you only purchase the kit because it requires testing strips which they intentionally do not include so you are forced to buy them in order to use the kit even though they make it sound like the kit comes with everything required for 10 uses. Update: when I returned the device for being non functional upon delivery due to the missing test strips the seller threatened to bill me for the return shipping and flag my account for abuse of the return process. I called Amazon and they confirmed that this was not a valid threat and advised me to continue with the return.

I love it. Here is a tip
It's almost perfectly designed, for such an affordable system. The only thing I would add is an eye-catching notice for space cadets like me using it for the first time: a sign saying that you do not have to turn it on. _It_turns_on_each_time_you_plug_a_test_strip_into_it_. I had tried turning it on with the power button, which turned it on, but is only meant for doing the settings and nothing more. I'm sure this is in the instructions somewhere, but I was excited and never did see it mentioned, but I tinkered a little and realized how it was supposed to work. All glucose meter systems probably work this way, but this is the first time I ever used one. Chris LaFave ; Portland, Oregon
