Assembly was moderately easy—most of it came together without too much trouble, though it does take some time. The manual incline is a bit limited and requires some effort to adjust, but it does add a small extra challenge when walking or jogging. One issue I ran into was with the belt alignment. At first, it kept shifting to one side no matter how I adjusted it. After some trial and error, I was able to get it centered and now it stays in place, but it took patience to get it right.
