No dead pixel. Downstream display port works perfectly for cascaded dual monitor setup. I enjoyed the clarity from 120Hz refresh rate very much.

The Dell Ultra sharp LED Monitor has had its ups and downs, when I first received the box I was skeptical of if it would work. The box was the regular monitor box with shipping labels attached to the box. The box was slightly damaged from the journey. I opened the box and everything seemed to be in order. I purchased this product because I wanted to use its ability to switch between 2 computers. I was using it for a MAC and a PC. The connection of the wires took some time to do it right but in the end everything kinda worked. Attaching a secondary monitor had to be done direct to the main computer. No big deal. About a month after buying it and using it 90% Mac 10% PC , my mouse stopped working consistently. The mouse was plugged into a keyboard so I assumed it was the keyboard and I plugged the mouse directly into the monitor. A few weeks late the keyboard was not working consistently. And a week after that it, the keyboard didn’t work at all. I had the keyboard for a while so I assumed to was the keyboard. Switched the keyboard and I had the same problem. I used a different usb port and everything works fine. The monitor has a faulty usb port that was supposed to be used for the keyboard. I already purchased a new keyboard but it is the monitor that is the problem. Overall, setup was complex to maximize the features of this monitor and I’m disappointed with the reliability of this product. I contacted the seller about the specific problems with this product and they stated that the time frame for returning the product had expired and there is nothing they would do about it. I ordered it on February 17. It arrived on February 21, I complained about the flaw on April 2, ant they said it was too late to return it and were unwilling to make things right. March 22 was the last day for exchanges, I guess this product does not have any kind of warranty. At the very least, find a different seller, if you have a problem they will not help.

The screen is 120hz which is super good when connected on a MacBook. It allows connection with mac within only a single wire which is awesome. But you have to take the monitor off from it's stand entirely if you switch to 90 degree mode.

Connection through Thunderbolt stopped working after 2 months. Only connects through HDMI now. Considering I bought this specifically for Thunderbolt charging and to use as a hub, this is extremely disappointing.

The monitor initially worked beautifully but after a few days just stopped linking to my computer. I called for support and was told it was outside the warrenty period though I just purchased it. I was able to exchange it and am waiting for the exchange to arrive.

ChatGPT recommended this monitor when I was planning an home office setup. This monitor was very easy to install and I only need to use the thunderbolt cable to connect and power the laptop which is exactly what I wanted. I can switch easily between MacBook and Dell laptops. Size is perfect and height is easy to adjust. Screen quality and colours are amazing. I added a BenQ monitor light bar to minimise eye strain.

DELL U2724DE is a great monitor for work, and a perfect laptop companion. U2724DE nay not have the sharpest or the fastest screen out there, but it has a lot of things done right that many monitors are missing or fail to deliver. Of course, a 2K panel is not as sharp as its 4K or 5K counterparts, but it is good enough for productivity. It is a tiny bit sharper than the 23-inch Full HD monitors you may want to replace with this U2724DE monitor. Last but not least, the full-fledget Thunderbolt 4 hub that makes DELL U2724DE so good asan extrernal screen for a modern laptop. Along with some extra USB-ports, you also get a 2.5G Ethernet port and several video outputs to daisy-chain even more monitors to your laptop by plugging them into the U2724DE. Besides being a connectivity king utilizing all the Thunderbolt 4 bandwidth, this monitor also provides 90 watt of charging power for your laptop. All through just one cable, without any docks to burden your work desk. In case this doc functionality is irrelevant or an overkill to you, you may save some money by getting a DELL U2724D instead that is basically the same monitor minus the Thunderbolt 4 dock. It is definitely on the expensive side. But if you are looking for a productivity monitor that can do some light gaming this definitely fits that need. It has all the features you could need for productivity. Thunderbolt, 90W PD, Daisy Chain, usb hub, KVM and eye care. With fluid 120hz and Variable refresh rate. Perfect size and resolution as well. One complaint would be that I can't seem to get the speakers working. But I primarily use headphones so it wasn't an issue for me. Build quality is amazing otherwise

Great monitor, wrong power cable in box (quickly resolved) The monitor came with an Italian Type L power cable instead of Schuko, but Amazon support solved it immediately. The monitor itself is excellent. Easy to assemble, solid stand. This is my 3rd Dell, my oldest 2209WA from 2009 still works perfectly. I bought the U2724DE for the IPS Black panel - great colors and deep blacks - but the best surprise is the connectivity. One Thunderbolt cable gives me 2560x1440 @ 120Hz, 90W charging, USB hub and Ethernet. No need for a dock anymore. Highly recommended. Cons: none so far, except the power cable issue.
