HOBO Knife Set, 15-Piece Kitchen Knife Set with Sharpener Wooden Block and Serrated Steak Knives, High Stainless Steel Knife Block Set

The knives themselves are great - they are very sharp and feel wonderful in the hands to use. , although mine were just in a box with no protection around the knives themselves. This was embarrassing as I got them for someone as a gift, so if you gift them - open the box and set them up first. The wood block is nice, but it would be nicer without the printing on it. The "HOBO" is weird enough, but then there's cursive print labeling each knife hole and it looks a bit cheap. Worst of all - the slot for the butcher knife isn't quite wide enough so it rubs the wood when you insert it. But for the price? It's a good deal, as the knives themselves feel great in the hand and are very sharp. The steak knives are serrated and that's a good thing.

I have Cutco knives that have gone dull and I didn't want to set an appointment with a sales person who would coerce me into buying $8M worth of knives.I went searching on Amazon for knives that would feel comfortable, slice & chop quickly, and that look cute in my kitchen.They are EVERYTHING I needed them to be and more. Honestly, I would've paid more for them! The quality of these knives makes them a steal at such an affordable price point. I've found myself wanting to cook more because I don't feel like chopping veggies is a chore now. I'm constantly looking for recipes that call for a lot of cutting, slicing, & chopping just so I can spend time with my new knives and help them live their best lives. My thighs will shrink for sure in 2019! (Less dining out & more chopping / dining in.)I'm happy I bought them and now I might have to buy a few sets as housewarming gifts for friends and family.

Chef and paring knife work beautifully. Haven't tried the other knives out yet, but am hopeful that all will be just as sharp. Easy to clean, and are dried and replaced into block immediately after use. (Steak knives- I have placed in the block with their blades facing up, so that they will not scrape the wood slots and dull blades.) Very hopeful with this beautiful set.

Love this knife set! Sharpest knives I’ve ever owned. We hand wash the to avoid water spots or rust. I love how they are one single piece of metal so there’s no chance of bacteria getting down into the handle. My husband and I are always joking about how careful we have to be with these because we literally cut ourselves almost every time we use them! They are SHARP! Take my advice, don’t try to grab a blade if it’s starting to fall off the counter! Oops!

The knife set was sharp and great. My friend loved it, though a few months after using them there was a clanking noise in the handles of each knife. I don't know what it is, but something inside the handles is broken and keeps clanging. Other than that, there is no problem with them, they work very well.

Love these knives. Finally shelled out a little bit more for a decent set and I am quite pleased with how well they work and aesthetically pleasing to the eye they are. They are definitely sharp as a knife should be. The wood block is solid and beautiful as well.

They are very sharp! I hope they stay that way. I wash the knives by hand and dry them right away as the instructions say to do. I bought this knife set for my husband for Christmas. He likes it very much. So far so good. I hope the knives stay sharp. Nice product at a very good price and these knives will work nicely with any set of flatware.

Extremely sharp. The bolt pin hole rusted on the sides on all of them when washed. Other than no complaints. I’ve cut myself several times with them in The sink.

The media could not be loaded.  Very modern design and style of knifes. Block is nice as well but we don't use it.Knifes are sharp and in all needed sizes.Going through all stuff without any problems. I will buy another set for my mum as she commented how nice they looks like. Very nice.

I was lucky to see this on a offer and with our previous knives handles starting to crack we used the opportunity to order this knife set. We have found these knives to be very sharp and a nice weight to use.For the price they were/are a bargain and visitors to our house have remarked how smart wooden block/knife set looks.As we are so pleased with this purchase we would have no hesitation in recommending this knife set.
