LOVE the buzz buddy. Bought for jaw development for my young kids. Colorful and kid friendly. Extremely easy to use. Cheaper than therapy. A great quality item. Kids love picking their attachment to use. So far, one battery has lasted a few months. Super easy for my toddler to turn on by himself, too. Adorable carrying case makes it easy to bring for long car trips. Easy to clean. Would buy again.

My AS baby loves this; it makes him smile and laugh the entire time he uses it. I wish them had a tooth brush head for this to help introduce teeth brushing. Highly recommend for those kiddos who need oral stimulation.

This has worked very well for helping my three year-old with his oral stimulation needs. Especially times where he is in a mood to chew a lot or even when he is agitated this is very helpful. It was recommended by his OT and we use it at OT but also When he is at school. You do have to press the button for the child in my opinion unless they are older, but that also means that it’s not overly sensitive and going to be going off easily. All of the tops work really well and the different options allow Your child to figure out what works for them. They’re easy to clean the battery life on them is average. You do have to press the button again to stop the vibrating.

The Special Supplies Buzz Buddy Oral Motor Stimulation Kit seems like it could be a helpful tool for older children, especially for sensory input, oral motor support, or feeding therapy. The different textured heads are well made, and the concept of gentle vibration for stimulation is thoughtful. However, for our baby, the interchangeable heads felt a bit large, and the vibration was stronger than expected. Because of that, it didn’t feel like the right fit for a younger baby, and we decided to return it. I can see this working much better for older toddlers or children who need more sensory input or are already used to oral motor tools. It just wasn’t ideal for our current stage.

My son (level 3 autism) takes his buzz buddy to therapy with him. He particularly loves the “Lego block” attachment. The handle size is perfect for all hand sizes. The vibration is strong yet quiet. The attachments seem very durable so far. I was scared that he would accidentally unscrew the attachments but they seem to stay on very well. I love that the attachments come in different colors. I absolutely love that it comes with a very sturdy carrying case as well. The price does seem a little high but this is a very high quality item so in my opinion, it’s worth it. This tool is amazing for those oral stimulation sensory seekers.
