Frienhund 7L Automatic Cat Feeder for 2 Cats with APP Control(ACF190W-A)

Putting this together was pretty simple - even I could follow the instructions so it should be a dawdle for everyone! You will need to get some D batteries and have it hooked up to power (it didnt seem to work at first when I just had the batteries in which was a little surprising). Good thing is that it is USB-C which is very convenient. It seems to be pretty good quality so far - my kittens are yet to knock it over. There is an additional piece to mount it to a wall (which they recommend you do) but that was a bit of a faff so I didnt bother and seems to be ok. The app was a little weird to start with but once I got the hang of it I was away laughing. I set some schedules and then realised the second option was to set the amount of each feed which was helpful. I also like the fact that you can manually dispense food (either on the app or the device). The hopper is a decent size and seems to hold enough of my kittens food for a good few days so far (probably up to a week). No issues with the food size - it seems to dispense well. My kittens are now used to hearing the beep and their food hitting the bowl - they come running!

I needed to ask a few questions on this feeder before I purchased. I needed to know the size of it and nowhere in the listing did it state this and the seller promptly send me a message with the measurements. I was looking at auto feeders and there is many out there with various prices and really did study the reviews and this one was far the best from reviews I was reading and the price was in the middle and not too expensive. I loved the fact it holds 7lt where most of them are 4lt This arrived this morning and could not wait to set it up. I see from other reviews the container was a bit fiddly and I took note of this and see that you have to angle it a certain way and turn it into place, got it spot on straight away. Connected to WiFi was very easy and simple no issues at all. Filled the container up, checked the lid and locks in well. Set times up in app, 1 feed is very little so time will tell by judging how much my cat needs on each feed so I have set it to five feeds 3 times a day and will adjust to 6 if needed. My feeder will be feeding 2 cats. You can just manually feed your cat in the app if needed. The feeder has connected to my Alexa and I need to work out how I can do it through Alexa which I am struggling with and hopefully it will work through Alexa. The feeder its self is a good size and would work well with dogs too. I don’t have the room for another feeder for the dog so trying to find room for another one for the dog. The device was straightforward to set up and offers ample capacity for daily use, although a slightly larger container would be beneficial. I particularly appreciate the ability to schedule feedings and adjust portion sizes with ease. Overall, this is a highly reliable and intelligent feeding solution, and I would confidently recommend it to anyone seeking a dependable option for their pets.

I’m using it for my dog, really great. We spent a couple hours out of house and was working great, you can choose the portion size per time, adjust everything through the app. As long as the feeder is connected to WiFi, you are always receiving the notifications and can also make extra feeding. Really great value for money.

stopped working after less than a week ! this product is simply dangerous for your pet !! We bought this feeder so that our cat could stay by himself for a couple of days as we needed to go away. The feeder was working brilliantly and simply stopped working after less than a week. We didn't have an electricity problem. the feeder had a set of battery just in case. So I came back home to a very hundry cat. Amazon has issued a refund but please don't buy if you care about your pet !

Works well when it works. Had it 2 months and when it is working, it is great. You can set timers on how regularly it feeds the cats and how much each portion is. However, the ‘blades’ inside the body of the device which turn and rotate biscuits out each time are made of flimsy rubber/plastic type material and it’s got to the point where at least once a day now, a biscuit gets caught between the blade and the part where the biscuits fall down into the blades and it jams the device and doesn’t deliver any portions until I empty the device, remove the offending biscuit then refill it again. Not sure if it is just my unit which seems faulty or if this is a design flaw. If it didn’t constantly jam, it would be very good but where it jams, it’s unreliable

Excellent device. Does exactly what we wanted. The only issue with using the feeder is having to weigh a single measure of food dispensed by the unit to find out how many measures equate to the daily feed amount.

Exactly what the seller stated. It was easy to get started as the instructions are easy to follow. No batteries are included, but the charging cable is a great length.
