After spending over eight long years with a Shark Robot Vacuum that finally stopped charging and went to robot heaven, we decided to get a modest replacement that wouldn't be too expensive, as we're saving up to buy a large self cleaning system later.I didn't know these things before could also do some light mop work. Between this ROPVACNIC S1 and the iRobot Roomba Y0140, we decided to take a chance on the ROPVACNIC S1.Despite not having many discussions in forums for budget friendly robot vacuums, the ROPVACNIC S1 performs very admirably, especially in terms of features. The mobile application is very easy to use and the response time is instantaneous. It also comes with a Remote Control which is a huge plus for when the WiFi goes out!As for actual cleaning, the ROPVACNIC S1 does a very good job of navigating through tight spaces and even maneuvering around some obstacles without making direct contact. Even at it's strongest suction setting, it's much quieter than the Shark we used to have. The mop function itself also does a good job of making the floor smell nice, since we put a little bit of Fabuloso cleaner in the water bin as well. I wouldn't use it as a full on replacement for getting rid of floor stains, because it will not do that, only surface level cleaning.The brushes and the filter are very easy to clean and they come with replacement parts. If you need additional parts, you can buy them very inexpensively from HUIZHEN.The battery life is very good as well, I was able to get the fully advertised hour and a half on non stop cleaning on strong suction power.Overall, I'm very happy with my choice on going for the Chinese branded underdogs. The ROPVACNIC S1 does an amazing job for it's price and every budget minded consumer who's looking to have a nice robot vacuum with more features than expected should definitely add this one to their shortlist.ROPVACNIC if you're reading this, please send out some review units to publications dedicated to robot vacuums so they can also give their recommendations on this incredible machine!

I absolutely love the Ropvacnic robot vacuum cleaner! I've been eyeing them for a couple of years now, but finally pulled the trigger on this model due to its power, mopping capabilities, and the price. The vacuum runs for 2 hours, daily, and my floors are consistently cleaner than when I had a cleaning service. I can't map out the house to prevent it from going on the carpet when I have the mopping on, but at this price point, that's fine. I simply block the carpet area off.The app works without issue, and I've integrated it with my Google Home setup. The WiFi setup was very easy. Every day, at 10 am, it runs until 12 noon, and every time it finds its way back to the charging station. The debris compartment is a bit small, but big enough for a day's run, and it takes all of 15 seconds to empty it. I have it mop a couple of times a week. While it doesn't put a lot of pressure down when mopping, it still does a great job. A little cleaning solution in the water reservoir, and my floors are sparkling clean.The height of the unit allows it to go under end tables and other nooks and crannies that a normal vacuum has trouble reaching. It also climbs over thresholds and other impediments with ease. Just be careful of cords, as it can get stuck. I couldn't be happier with this purchase and have recommended it to multiple family members.

They did ask me to change the item review to 5 stars based on my interaction with customer service, but I am rating the item and not customer service. Customer service was quick to respond otherwise.Pros: Packaged well and seems well-built. Reading the instructions was beneficial and the setup is well covered. It comes with spare parts, such as brushes and filters. Upon first use, the vacuum can find the home. The app is well designed and useful for scheduling for times I don't want to be around when it runs its course. The motor and brushes are strong and it picks up dirt and debris well enough for me. I have not used the mop feature yet and have no opinion. For the most part, it does navigate fairly well to avoid objects.Cons: It's been a while since I've owned a Roomba and I'm not sure about the latest industry AI programming but this seems to get caught on many things more easily; I realize I stated it can navigate well but it can get hung up easily also. I've been using it a month or so and so far it only found its way home once. I think the problem may be my environment where the rug is too high and the exercise bike is just the right height to get caught under. I can't seem to find the sweet spot where the vacuum will charge when manually placed on the charger, so I direct plug to the DC port. The charging base does slide around easily during docking and needs to be placed in a corner.Overall, I'd recommend it.
